Well we are in the "process". We have two bio children, my son was born 3 months premature and honestly we were scared to roll the dice again and have a child born even earlier. We are not doing private adoption but adoption through fostercare. We have two kiddos with us now that are straight foster and will be going home to Grandma at the end of the school year. We also have a baby girl we brought home from the hospitol and we are praying to adopt. Foster to adopt like this is not for the faint of heart. She is only a month old and I already get sick at the thought of her going home. We met our "match" last weekend and they are definate adoptive placements. An 4 year old AA girl and her baby brother who just turned 1. We are over the moon about them coming to us.
We will not have them in our home permenantly until June though. The little girl is finishing her school year out because she is doing really well.
