For those who went to MNSSHP 9/22 early?

Minimal..... well very short.
We got there about 4:15, shopped a bit, and grabbed a bit at Cosmic Rays before hitting any rides.... The exodus of people leaving the park when we arrived in the parking lot at 4pm was amazing -the trams were full like at closing time!

Between 5:30 & 7 DD and I (or DD alone) did:
Indy Cars 2x
Buzz 3x
TTA 2 RTs (that does not really count as far as lines, but just giving you time line)
HM 1x
visited for a few minutes with another DISfamily
Peter Pan 1x

and were at the Dance Party area when it started at 7pm.

Thanks for the info! Which parade did you attend? I always hear you should go to the second one and be riding rides during the first but if lines aren't bad either way.......

Any advice on the best time to arrive to avoid getting in the middle of a throng of people exiting? We have 5:30 ADRs at LTT. I was thinking we would get there around 4:00...but will it be getting bad by that point?

Also, are the parades at 8 and 10?

We arrived at the TTC around 4pm, more people were leaving than going in at that time. We got on the first monorail, and there was no security lines or line through the turnstiles. They had the ones on the right for party goers, and those on the left for those using regualr tickets at that point.

The only "traffic" at that time was that going out of the park. They had CMs on Main Street directing those people to stay to their right.

For 5:30 ADRs 4pm would be great, you could most likely hit a few things on the way if the day is like last Friday!

It was really wonderful! Here's the castle at 4:15

We went to the 10:30 parade. It was pretty empty on Main Street. We got a spot up on the Train Platform around 10pm, and just chilled until the parade.

Didn't even try the 8:15 parade - we were in Toontown at the time, but walking through Liberty Square just as it passed and it was very crowded!

It seems that may folks experience was that some of the character lines were longer than the ride lines!

Thanks for the report! Your pictures are very good also. Was the halloween merchandise at a 'cart'? The ears and the little mini snowglobe were so cute, have to add them to my list.

Thank you!

That merchandise was in the shop next to the Haunted Mansion - it is full of costumes and halloween "stuff"!

I agree the lines were nonexistant. The worst thing for us was waiting out the technical difficulty that temporarily shut down PotC. It was up and running within 20 minutes, but it was delayed in the middle of the ride for another 10 to 15 minutes.

We managed to do PotC, Philharmagic, IaSW, eat dinner at Pecos Bill's, see HM and shop a lot, between 4 and 7. We could have done more, but we were all about taking our time and enjoying the park. It was really a nice night, I just wish that it had been a bit cooler and a bit less buggy. Maggie
