For those who have used Expedia ...

I want two connecting rooms at the DH. If I book two rooms through Expedia, will calling DH directly allow me to request connecting rooms? (I realize it's only a request.) How soon after booking with Expedia will DH have notice of my reservation?

Usually within a couple of weeks at the most. Definitely call the hotel directly not only for special requests but to just verify they have your reservation. I have used Expedia for around 5 trips to the Disneyland Hotel and 2 for Paradise Pier. I have never had any problems with Expedia but just always figure the "middle man" factor leaves more room for error. If you booked a package with park tickets make very sure you bring your expedia vouchers. The DLH will only be able to convert you to park tickets if you have those vouchers with you.
