For those who have used Deckerts

Did you have any trouble communicating with them? It seems in this day and age, they should have a website that is available and user friendly. I'm beginning to wonder if I made the right choice of scooter. I booked them with a good deal of hassle and paid promptly. We found after we had made and paid the reservation that we chose a different hotel and I wanted to communicate that to them. I emailed them and nothing, days have gone by and I finally called today that they had made the change but never sent me an email to confirm the change. Maybe I'm too fussy but I expect at least some kind of acknowledgment of an email when dealing with services that are already paid for. I'm used to Walker at WDW and their customer service was always prompt and efficient. Maybe California is more laid back in their dealings?:scared::rolleyes1:rolleyes1
 
I've dealt with them for over 10 years, and usually just call them. Scooter has always been there and on time. It is ran by older people. I've even had an issue where the battery was dying and they offered to come out ON CHRISTMAS to replace it! (I told them it could wait, I was just having to charge it mid day.) I'm sorry they didn't email back.
 
If we go in February I'm planning on using Apple scooters. I have used them several times in Orlando with great service and great customer service. I'm sure they will be very good, as they did make your change.

I've used Deckert's for about 8 years now and while I don't like that they don't have a website, they are amazing on the phone! Super helpful and friendly! I used Apple Scooter once to 'save' a little money and boy was that a mistake!! Stick with Deckert's!!
 
They are a good reputable company. I used them in March and my scooter wasn't there in the morning like I ordered and they brought over a new one right away. They stand behind their business. I read lots of reviews on here and yelp about many companies and read how other companies scooters were delivered with dead batteries or would die out midday etc. Just lots of bad stories but not this company nothing but good reviews. I personally trust they are a good business. I was spectacle about not having online information but looks like they are just old skool.
 
Used them since 2005, maybe earlier, and NEVER NEVER NEVER been anything but pleased. They do not have websites and I have always called them, and everything has always been perfect! We lost a key once and they were there to take care of the issue within an hour of calling. Can not recommend them high enough!!!!
