For those who have traveled with an infant to WDW?

You're not crazy! We went last year with our DD 2 and DD 11 weeks. The baby basically lived in my ellaroo wrap the entire time. I love the thing! I also love my mai tai baby carrier. For the pool I used a water sling made of solarveil (the fabric is SPF 45). All of the carriers are not bulky and travel well. Also make sure to take breaks at the baby centers in the park. Everyone there is very helpful and you can take a nice rest. My pediatrician said that California Baby sunscreen is okay to use on kids under 1 year. I was breastfeeding which was great b/c we didn't have to pack any bottles or anything. We're going again in July and I can't wait! Best of luck!

you are right about the one bedroom - we loved being able to do laundry - you don't want hot poopy clothes on the return trip home! Plus I loved having a swim in the tub at the end of the day to cool them off and get the sand and mickey bar off the toddler - funny how a bath always calms a little one down and makes them sleepy.

you can go on many rides - take your bjorn to free up hands - made it feel a little safer too - CMs will tell you what is not safe but you'll still have lots of fun. I think there is a list of what you can ride on wdwinfo.com if you search for it.

I second KristiKelly - a pack and play was no good - we ordered a toddler bed from abbf.com which was great (ask for unscented linens). They rent cribs and bassinets as well but we took a folding bassinet from fisher price (not sure if the still make them) and that was heaven! A crib or p&P still seems too big for our little man.

a water sling - excellent! Where did you get it?!

We took ds at 5 monthes. It was a snap. He slept alot in his stroller. I bought a fan that was battery operated that clipped to the side of his stroller and was adjustable so that you could point wherever you wanted.
Lots of sunscreen. Lightweight adjustable clothing. A sunhat,
Lots of fluids... formula or breastfed should be sufficient but if you are worried baby is not getting enough you give a some pediatlyte.

He actually loved all the rides and attractions. We took him on everything possible and he was delighted by it all. Plus the airconditioning cooled him off too.
I had swim diapers and we took him for a dip in the pool with us.
Dh tried to convince me to leave him at home. I wouldn't go for it! I told him if the baby wasn't going then neither was I, him and the older 4 kids would be on their own. I knew that wasn't happening so I won out and truthfully we happy we took him. Lots of great photos and the memories of him wearing 3D glasses during Philharmonic are priceless.
Now the trip when he was 17 monthes old was a little more difficult, but still a wonderfull experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. He'll turn 2 this trip and I'm hoping for the best since the TERRIBLE two's have already set in. LOL

I got the water sling at the website tentoes. It's terrific. Well made and dries quickly.
