For those that have done both, is the walk from the

monorail to the wing rooms compare say to the walk from the monorail to the

walk to the beach at the Poly?

That totally depends on where in the wings you're staying. Our room was the first one on the 2nd floor of the north wing, so it took no time at all (maybe 2 minutes, max). If you were further out, then it would obviously take longer.

Yes, I would say the walk to the wings from the Tower and the walk from the GCH to the beach is about the same.

Thanks, that helps me justify a lower cost monorail hotel, if the walk is about the same.

The Northwing is closer than the Southwing from the monorail. Neither are very far....but the North is closer.
