For those who have ridden the new POTC.

Is the opening scene with Davy Jones too scary for a little one? DD rode it last time and I was a bit concerned about the whole skeletons and dead men tell no tales opening, but she did alright. I have seen the pics of what Davy Jones looks like and it doesn't seem to bad. I just wanted to get a first person experience. Thanks.

If she handled the orignal version ok then this will be fine. I say that because it's no worse than it was before. Basically it's just Davy Jones projected on a wall (or waterfall) of mist that you go through.

I dont make calls for others but will say simply that if she handled the original this should be fine. the ride is really no different (thank goodness).

It's hard to say....my DD's 3 and 1 had no problem with it...but they love the ride and the movies as well....(well the little has no clue, excepting for pointing at anything lighting up)

I'm not sure if the changes are the same as at Disneyland, but my 2 year old dd rode that one last week and LOVED it.
