Ok..I am not a huge rollar coaster fanatic - but I do go on Space Mt and Thunder Mt. and Splash Mt. I went on Rockin Rollarcoaster, but the opening was waaayyyy too much for me!! :scared1:

So...are there many big drops on Everest? Do you think a so-so coaster person could handle it? :confused3

I really want to try it - but I don't want to get sick for the day!!

I took Bonine for motion sickness, as I don't always do so well on rides. It is not to be missed!! We rode 3 times today (Thursday). I would try it once.

I'm not a huge coaster fan either but I had to try it! EE is a cross between BTMR and Mummy IMO. Not as intense as RNR and much smoother then BTMR. I'm terrified of heights so the first time I rode, I closed my eyes going up the hill. The 2nd and 3rd time I opened them and looked to the left and saw Spaceship Earth, TOT and the Swolphin. Do it, it's really cool.

I'm a senior citizen who doesn't do rides very well anymore but as I am here, I HAD to do this one. I went on it yesterday and it was fine. I didn't take anything (Dramamine) before I went on and came off feeling a bit dizzy but it was worth it. It's a very cool ride!!

I rode it yesterday morning along with my 68 year old parents. We had a blast and no one had any problems with it at all. My dad said it reminded him of Big Thunder Mountain only better.

Hi,
My husband and I rode this twice yesterday and my only reconmendation is to keep your head back on the headrest as when it starts to move backwards if your head is not on the headrest the ride will put it there. That made me feel a little off for the rest of the day but it was great. I ride BTM with no issues and R'nRC only once per day as if I do it more it makes me feel a little off for the rest of the day. We no longer to Space as it bothers my neck and my husbands back but we both do ToT and Splash with no issues. I would say give it a try once and enjoy.

Ok..someone put this in perspective for me. How big is the drop on Splash Mountain??? :confused3

I believe Splash Mountain is 52.5 feet.

Ted

The Orlando paper said it is a 50 foot drop on EE.

One thing to note, though... Unlike Splash's drop, the one on EE does bank to the side (I believe), so it's not just a flat drop feeling--and should feel less intense than Splash's drop, actually.

(Haven't ridden, but have seen the video and had the explained to me.)

So how does the backward feel? Does it go by quickly? And is the 80 ft drop going forward or backward? I don't have a problem with these things but my DH has problem with rides that go backward but I think if it goes real fast through the backward part he won't mind it. He loves RNR so how does it compare?

No. It goes backwards and there is an 80ft drop.

Yea, but someone told me that the drop is not that bad because it has a curve. Is that true?

Several of the drops are curved, but the biggun is straight down..no curve 'til the end. We rode five times today, and I loved it. Take it from a roller coaster chicken, this one is a keeper! For the full experience, ride in the very front...you get the full impact of the broken track and the Yeti!
