This is the first trip in many, many years that I didn't have one single problem with blisters or sore spots on my feet.

I took the recommendation of a co-worker who is also an avid runner and bought some Body Glide Anti-Blister and Chafing Stick before the trip.

I applied it all over the soles of my feet, heels, (even inbetween my toes) and didn't have a single blister--and I wore sneaks that were not completely broken in yet!!

This is a big deal for me because I can wear Crocs, sneakers (tennis shoes) that I've had for years and years and are well broken in and I still had issues to some degree.

So....for those looking for a band-aid/mole skin blister free park hopping WDW vacation, I recommend Body Glide!

(Cleo--if this thread is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it to the appropriate board! )

I used Sport Slick (on the recommendation of my tri-athlete DH) and had my first ever blister free WDW trip.

Yep, folks on these boards are big fans of Body Glide. :thumbsup2 I first read about it on this board and now I use it all the time, in WDW and out! Its does good double duty on your feet both preventing blisters and moisturizing!

Where do they sell it??? Thanks!

Most sporting goods stores sell it. Dicks and Modells around here have it. My DW has picked it up in the past. I am one of the lucky ones who does not blister or chafe :)

Ok so now I'm curious!

How does it feel when you have either product on your feet, walking around?

Does it feel like you've got baby oil or lotion on them? Can you still wear socks?

I LOVE Bodyglide. Never had a blister or hotspot since I started using it 5 or 6 trips ago. I get it at drugstore.com.
It feels a little slippery and is a little noticeable, but in a good way. I always wear it with socks; I tried it with crocs barefoot and didn't like how it felt.

No feel at all and yes I wear socks with it as well. Then when it gets a bit hotter out I just take the socks off.

Mlill They also sell it at camping store (REI/EMS) and at Drugstore.com (we'll see ya in about 2weeks at the Mixer).

I purchased my Body Glide at a store that sells running shoes and supplies.

I didn't notice any feel at all from it. I was worried that it would feel slippery like vaseline or something, but it didn't! It's great stuff!

It came in two sizes. I bought the smaller one and was afraid I'd run out, but I didn't. I would apply it in the morning before putting on socks. We always come back to the resort for a mid-day rest and I'd re-apply it before we'd leave the room.
