For those who have done the Pirate Cruise...

are sneakers REQUIRED for the cruise or are they just suggested? My step kids do not wear sneakers in the summer at all. They are strictly crocs and sports sandal wearers.

I guess what i'm wondering is, do their toes have to be covered or will Teva sports sandals work? I don't want to lug sneakers along with us if we don't have to!

My boys wore their sandals. Never an issue.

Mine wore crocs. We didn't even bring other shoes to WDW for them.
