My girlfriend bought me a DiveQuest tour for my birthday. I'm a Naui certified diver although the only dive I have ever done is the test to get my certification. I took the certification classes in college a couple of years ago. I'm not worried about the actual dive and remembering how everything works. However, after reading some trip reports I have seen multiple people talk about their Dive logs. I don't have one (read as I've lost mine). Do I need one? I have my C-Card. Anything else I should know?

any help appreciated,
tRG

No, you don't have to have a Dive Log. However, this would be a great time to start one!! They have a neat Dive Quest stamp that they will put in your log for you.

You'll love this . . . . my friend is doing this for the 4th time during our October trip. He just loves the experience, and especially likes to clown around outside the restaurant windows to entertain small kids who are eating inside.

You may want to bring your own mask, even though one is provided if you don't. And if you have anyone with you who is taking pictures, make sure you have some sort of signal that they will be able to recognize you by. It can be really hard to recognize each other when you're wearing rented gear, and your hair is floating straight up!! One wife who was waiting with me during one visit shot an entire roll of film of a diver who turned out NOT to be her husband, LOL!!!

As long as you have your C-card, swim trunks, and a photo ID, you'll be fine.

Hello Chris,
I had the chance to do Dive Quest in Aug98....
it was the best time
nothing like diving in the worlds 6th largest ocean...
bring your dive card and enjoy the rest....
you get to experience what 99.9999% of Epcot visitors dont.

Can't agree more with the other posters. DH and I did the dive a few years back and it was the experience of a lifetime.

Our children and granddaughter were having dinner in the Coral Reef restaurant and were lucky enough to get a table right by the glass. It was so neat to go right up to the glass and wave to them. A videographer follows the divers around and films the experience. So we have video of us in the tank and our children in the restaurant behind us.

BTW.....as donna in Oz pointed out. This would be a PERFECT time to start a dive log.
