For those who have done a Grand Gathering

Ok , I finished booking all the rooms so asked MS to start me on the process to get a grand gathering number. A problem came up because in one of the units they aren't sure if some of the group will be there the whole stay or only for a few days on the middle. The CM told me I can't get a grand gathering number until everyone knows exactly what days they will be ther and that once we get a number, no one can be added or dropped. So I guess the question is :Have you ever added or dropped people from your grand gathering after you got your number ? Thanks.

I'm not sure if this helps you, we currently have a GG and our groups are not staying exactly the same days. Our days overlap, group 1 is staying Sun to Friday, group 2 is staying Tue through Sunday and group 3 is staying Monday through Friday, so the only days everyone is there are Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri. The only trouble I have had is that the GG experiences are mostly booked up!

I'm doing one in December for 12 people. Since in the end we weren't interested in any of the grand gathering experiences, I haven't really used the grand gathering number that I got at all.

I am sure as long as your total number of people stays above 8 than you can add/drop freely.
