Can one MMB be used to buy APs with points for all owners?

We currently have a problem. A bug in the Disney computer system will not let some people who own MMB in 2025 purchase it for 2026 (they are working on it).

My daughters share a membership where they are both owners that live at different addresses. Due to the IT bug one of them cannot buy MMB right now because she had it in 2025.
If the other one buys MMB for 2026 will she be able to buy an AP for her sister using points?

In other words, does each household of a membership that wants to buy APs using points have to have their own MMB or can one owner of a membership with MMB buy APs for all owners?

Thanks for your help!!

It is per household. But, the website just allowed me to renew so the issue seems to be resolved in allowing those of us with 2025 MMB to get for 2026.

Thanks for letting me know.

The warning of an MMB renewal problem is currently on the website, but hopefully that's just because they haven't removed the warning box. I will have her try to renew again; I will report back with a result it she attempts to today.

I am not able to renew, unless I am looking in the wrong place. It just lists me as an active member, but with an expiration date of 12/31/25.

My link was there this morning and was not there yesterday.

Just scrolled to the bottom of the page after seeing all the benefits and it was there.

Maybe it’s not fully fixed?

I don't have the link. Not urgent yet. I've got a couple of weeks before I need to buy OTUP.
My daughter just tried to renew and the link was not there for her online either. She called MS and was told the problem still exists and they cannot renew it for her either.
.
They said it should be solved in the next week or two. She is traveling to Disney on the 17th of January so that is cutting it close.

Hopefully it is resolved quickly.

I renewed my 2026 Membership Magic Beyond on December 14. I see that DVC shows I purchase it but I am trying to figure out how to add the Memory Maker benefit to my Disney Experience app.

It should be under ticket and passes, assuming that they have loaded them…which I think they did because I have it and I gave my 2025 one away.

Well that stinks…don’t know how I got lucky today.

Follow up -

My daughter was able to purchase her MMB last night (and get annual passes - YAY!)
Given my daughter's and Sandisw's experiences, plus the fact that a warning of this problem is still active on the website, I believe the link to purchase MMB is becoming available for members sporadically rather than universally.

Of course it's also possible this problem may be resolved for everyone (unless others confirm it is not by still being unable to buy MMB).
