Yes you can use points but since it takes a lot of points it is not an option for a lot of people.

Thanks for the hopeful heads up about special permission. I do agree that it's best just to wait and see what will happen. Seeing "the David" would be special, but it's not going to make or break our trip. I am actually kind of excited to wait and see what kinds of surprising ABD comes up with, and not to know exactly what is going to happen. I'm a huge planner/control freak when it comes to vacation, so it says a LOT about how much I trust ABD that I just have faith they're going to give us a fabulous vacation without knowing any more details!

I am right there with you about planning. My kids tease me that I "plan in the spontaneity" on trips. I learned a long time ago that planners are rewarded with better experiences. This is why “not knowing” about everything in the ABD trip is a little tough. I am trusting………..a difficult thing for us planners.

I'm letting it go and trusting too...what an adventure! You can look for me as I'm getting off the ship. If all goes "as planned" I'll be the one in the DCL t-shirt, kicking and screaming as the drag me down the gangplank because I don't want it to end!
