woah. this is awesome.

we weren't going to participate, but then carlo walked into disneyland and became a fanatic. we exited our first star tours ride into the shop, and wham... starter sets and lanyards magically appeared around our necks.

in preparation for our return trip this year, we did a bulk ebay buy of 100 pins to use as traders, as we love most of the pins we accumulated last trip, and probably won't trade them.. we also spent way, way too much money buying pins retail in the park, rather than online...

how about i pop her on a train and she can go for a walk...

she also refuses to walk on a lead....her big sister was like that as well....its a schnauzer trait.. stubbornness...

all the photos i have of her at the moment are blured cause she doesnt stop still, and when she does she curls into a ball nose to tail, so she just looks like a tribble

Thanks for the link, I will get DD to sign up. She has traded on both our trips, and keeping the lanyards with the pins separate as a reminder of her trip.

I want to check on the 'fakes' - when she was trading this time, she did try to check. She was disappointed that a lot of cast members and trade boards had exactly the same pins.

some of the best cast members to trade with are the ones at the resorts and shops...they seem to have a good variety..also checkin on front desk, big turn over I guess in pin trading....will attempt to trade this trip, took notes the last few trips...
