For those who collect different eras in Disneyana

Do you have an age you like? I seem to be going after more and more stuff from the 60's and 70's. I think it is due to my age as I was born then and was a kid in the 70's and seem to remeber a lot of this stuff. I have a lot from different ages but (other than pins) most seems to come from then.

How about you?

I agree with you Nat. I was a kid when Walt Disney previewed Disneyland once in a while on the TV show. I was fascinated with Disneyland and my greatest wish as a child was to get there. That didn't happen for me until the 80's. But for many years I've collected Disneyland paper and souvenirs from those early years, 1955 through about 1970. I guess it's like... what I missed.

I also collect WDW stuff, but again, from the early years of that park, 1969 through 1990. Most of my collection, I brought back from trips and I rarely find anything on eBay, or shows from that period that I want. Even when I do see something on eBay, there is usually someone out there willing to spend a whole lot more for it than me.

You can't collect everything, and long ago my interests settled into the early years of both parks. When dreams and magic were more important than profits.
