Did u happen to change your reservation? I'd like go call and switch a couple things...resort and such but am worried the agent might not honor it? Hmmmm....

I did! Called and changed to Deluxe dining, made some date changes and took DH off no problems.

Same here. Changed our party size and days on our tickets without a problem.

We switched resorts and were NOT able to take the free dining with us, instead I used 30% off pin code that I got over the phone with them for a deluxe. Savings are almost equal to the free dining savings.

I am also one of the people who booked this free dining offer online --- not knowing it was a canadien offer. I called disney back in November and told them of the scenario -- that the disney website pre-populated my info after I signed into my account and that I read on a blog that I may have received a dining offer that I was not entitled to ....

Guest Services told me that I was still able to take advantage of this offer because of a glitch on their end BUT I was not able to book any more rooms with this discount code. I was able to switch resorts and add my niece though.

I have a somewhat related question to this. Does anyone know if it is possible to add another room to the free dining booking at this point? Our friends may be coming to join us but it would be nice if they got free dining too (they are also Canadian but of course the free dining booking period has ended). Otherwise I suppose we can add them to our room and pay the extra adult fee? Would it be a problem if they then book a room only so we are not squished in the same room?

I would appreciate any thoughts you may have about this situation.

I tried to add an additional FD room after the promotion was over and was told no, but I could switch to a different room type to accommodate the extra guests. We ended up going with a cabin for 6.

However, it's still best to call and ask. You may get a different answer.

Good luck.
