When you check in, would you be happier to hear that you where staying in one of the 11-14 buildings or in 23-26?

Just curious. :)

either would work for me.

if I had kids - definitely 23-26 - don't want the little ones to be hurt running across the street - when people are trying to find a parking space.

there is a crosswalk for 23-26 - no crosswalk for building 11-14.

besides the view from 23-26 of the HH is much prettier.

I was delighted to hear about the new booking category, but then realised that meant only a 50% chance of being really happy!!! On our previous visit we stayed in building 28, and my aunt was in 12 (when it was a smoking building) and so I knew that we preferred being on the Peninsula Road side. So on checking in this Feb, I was somewhat disappointed to be given building 12 - with nothing in 23-26 available that day. Told myself it would be fine, and of course, the villa was great - but we really did not like walking through the parking area, with two young children, to get to HH. Paid the $60 to change to 26 the next day - well worth it for us!

I really wonder why there isn't a path round the side from HH to those buildings, rather than having to walk past all the cars. It would obviously be a longer way round - but much safer and pleasanter.

This is my only gripe about OKW - honestly!!

While the views from the Penninsular Road buildings are spectacular, I really liked our views from 13 and 14 too. I wonder how bad it would be in 11 though. Actually, 11 should have an advantage of not going across the street where the buses turn.
