Maybe someone can help with this.
I have booked our last 3 trips with Dreams Unlimited and have had wonderful service each time. I enjoy not having to search on my own for additional discounts and having the DU agent book all my ADRs.
DH and I got AAA this year andwere hoping to get a discount with it for our upcoming trip to WDW. I like that I can book my air, resort and park tickets all at once through AAA with a discount but I am unimpressed with their service right now and I haven't even booked yet! I miss using DU! So I am considering booking the room only AAA rate thru DU. But then I need to book airfare and get park tickets on my own and frankly, I dont know where to begin with that. Can anyone give some suggestions or opinions?
Thanks!!!

For airfare, I first check Southwest (they are by far the cheapest airline out of my airport and they have great cancellation policies.)

If I strike out with Southwest, I go to Expedia and Orbitz and see what airline has the cheapest flights. Then I go directly to that airline's website and search for those flights. (I prefer to go directly through the airline rather than expedia or orbitz if the price is the same.)

As for park tickets, as long as you know what you want - you can order them directly from Disney on the official website (just ordered my APs a few days ago). If you aren't sure what type of tickets you need, there are plenty of information sites that provide breakdowns of tickets and prices and asking questions here on the board will certainly provide a ton of information!

Good luck!

I booked resort, park tickets and dining plan through AAA. I saved $170 over the rate on wdw website. I booked my own flight since I received an email that Jet Blue is flying to orlando from Newark starting in October and there was a special going on that saved me a lot of $$ over airlines that WDW has on website. I had also looked online at hopper tickets and the savings that I found were minimal.

IMHO, booking airline separate has been always a savings. It depends on discounts for tickets and rooms. . .
