For those visiting on January 19th...

I wanted to let everyone know about the Dick Batchelor Run for the Children at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

This will be a morning event but will impact both parks.

YIKES! We had planned to visit that day. What will have a greater impact... the race at Universal or the Kids event at SeaWorld??? Hmmm....

Oh, and the college cheerleaders are in town for a National Championship down at Disney the same weekend.

I'm in the same scenerio. Which would be a better choice Sea World with the kid concert crowds or US/IOA with the race crowds? We have 1 day at Sea World and 3 days at US/IOA with hotel express pass and prefer the least crowd impact. Any advice is greatly appreciated! thanks for the info.!

Man. We'll be there the 19th, 20th, and 21st. Do you think it will increase crowds at IO and AOA? We probably won't be to the park until noon on the 19th but don't plan to do more than one park/day.

The event at SeaWorld is geared toward little ones, preschoolers. I think the park will be crowded but the lines for the bigger rides shouldn't be impacted too much. Positive thinking...lol

I don't think it will increase the crowds but the course will definitely impact both parks. If you aren't arriving until noon, most people from the event should being cleared out.
