For those there now - cold at night?

I am packing for our trip next week. I see similar weather to what is forecasted now when we will be there. For those who are there now (or recently) - is it cold at night? At night - shorts and short sleeves, or short sleeves and long pants, or long sleeves and long pants? I live in Louisiana and our 55 degree temps mean it is COLD but it is also super humid here and I know it's not humid so much there.... I have no perspective.

I ask because my daughter won't wear jeans (sensory issues) which makes layering tough. I can't just pack a pair of jeans to change into at night. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

We live 5 hours from Disneyland and I think it's currently a bit cooler here at night. I go for walks with a friend and she's been fine without a sweater this week, but I've been wearing mine. I think it is probably warm enough to go without a sweater. But I would wear long pants. Will she wear sweats? Also when you walk around all day in shorts and T-shirt in the sun and then the sun goes down it feels much cooler than when you have been inside all day and then step out into a 65 degree dark night.

Agreed. We are 6 hours away and for a while it was pretty warm at night but in the last couple of days it had gotten a little cooler at night. The days have all been pretty nice until this afternoon... super gloomy out right now.

Here this week and it's been cold in the mornings. I've been wearing shorts and a flannel shirt and then throwing the flannel in her backpack as the day goes on. It warm in the afternoons.

I live about 50 minutes or so from Anaheim (so close and yet so far away). The weather has been really weird this year. Definitely at least a light jacket in the evening weather.

I've been wearing long sleeves in the morning and night most days this week. I did not need one last night or this morning though. And I get chilled easily.

I live local. Jeans can be hit or miss. It has been too warm for them lately BUT the prediction is for cooler weather and possibly some rain in the next week. We have had some odd weather this year and normally I would laugh at a forecast of rain. This year not so much.

I love yoga pants personally. And Disney sweatshirts. I could also go for shorts or capris and a sweatshirt.

I just got back from DLR this week - chilly in the mornings and evenings- hot in the afternoon....but check the weather frequently bc it's supposed to rain Friday!

We were there today. It was hot during the day but around 6:00 it got pretty chilly. I put pants and a sweater on my 2 year old and my husband changed into jeans. I was fine with just a light jacket.

Stayed for WOC last night, and it got COLD. We were glad we both had jeans and sweatshirts!!

We arrived at the parks early this evening when the temps were in the upper 60s. With all the walking, a long sleeve shirt was enough for me as long as the sun was still up. But once the sun set, it got chilly rather quickly. The temps went down to the low 50s, and I was glad to have a light jacket. If the OP plans on longer periods of inactivity at night, like waiting for WOC or MSEP, then I would recommend warmer layers for that.

The weather has definitely shifted between last week and this week. It is cooler and drizzly in the early morning. We were warmer last week and it is much cooler this week. The evenings are much cooler than last and it was in the 50s last evening.

The weirdest season here in CA in a long time.
