For those that may be going to Oahu

I just found a link to the Government of Honolulu website with links to live feed webcams that they have set up. There's one at Waikiki Beach (by the statue of Duke) and one at Kuhio Beach. I wish that I had found this before our trip a few weeks ago. It would have been cool to set up a time with friends and family so that we could have waved to them live from so far away!.

They had the one by the Duke statue in Waikiki up in May. When we were there we called our family back home and they saw us! There is a time delay though of about minute or two. We saw a few other people doing it. I read about it in a guidebook. Pretty cool tip!

I can only get it to play if I use IE. For whatever reason, I can't get it up with Firefox.
