For those that have been to Nick Hotel....

got back today from another two night stay, a great time as always. the lifeguards had our daughter and her friend up in the chairs with the whistles directing the slides. :)

it's our seventh time and no problems at all.

Does anyone know if the Kids at Night Program (not sure the offical name) can be booked in advance or do we have to wait til we check in to the hotel? I want to book space for my two younger kids so DH and I can get away for nice dinner. Also, if anyone has any good or bad reviews on it I would like to hear that also.

I think you have to be checked in and it's not available every night. We didn't get a chance to use it since they weren't running it on our last night there. I would call ahead to see if they will be running it on the night you want.

We are staying here for 3 nights before our cruise next week. I hope we are one of the lucky ones who enjoy it. Although I'm dying to get the OP's update :) !!!

Anyone have any ideas of good places to eat near the hotel?

Has anyone been there in Feb. Are the pools swimmable then? I would hate to go and not be able to swim.

Hotwire has rooms for $99 right now, and I'm tempted to switch out of OKW for either the first or last night of our stay. I'd want to maximize pool time at the resort, but I see check-in is at 4. Do they let you check-in earlier than that and use the pools while waiting for your room to be ready?

We were there for one night this past April. We got there at 11am and they let us check-in, a room was even ready and if not we were definetely allowed to use the pools and resort while waiting. If I got this hotel for a good price like $99 I'd go back. I'm glad we did it once. I think I just expected more of a Waterpark and it's really just a few flume slides and a hotel pool. My 6 & 8 yr old liked it but the 11yr old thought it was ok. And 2 days 1 night was definetely enough for us, not cause of the noise or screaming kids or gross factor, we experienced none of that, just because I think we got a little bored with it after a while.
