Okay we have decided to leave tomorrow afternoon vs. 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning and driving straight thru. We have a reservation for OKW on Friday. So today the wheels were turning and I decided that we will by 2 or 3 at the latest tomorrow afternoon and driving until we get tired...probably 11 or 12 then getting in at OKW earlier in the day the next day vs. driving straight thru Fri. and getting in at 8 or 9. We have AP's so we are thinking hitting a park Friday late afternoon.

How far do you think we can get if we don't hit major traffic? I would like to have about 6 hours to go on Friday.

Any thoughts??

We drove from NoVa and only took is 12 hours total via I-95. I'd look at maybe staying in Charleston, SC or there abouts.

Yup we drove from Baltimore too and stopped for the night in savanah.
Was 10 hours. Next morning was easy drive in.

Next time we go I'm going to try and drive down whole way. If I get tired I'll stop but I think we can. But on way home wil definitely stop as I was tired.

We stayed at kidani last time. Thinking of staying at okw too

We're in MD, north of DC, and we're leaving early Fri and driving straight through.

But, last time, we stopped in Savanah. 9 Hours of driving plus stops. We didn't get to Savanah until dinner time.

Thanks..... yeah... I got the wild hair to go ahead and leave and get some of the trip behind us so we can actually enjoy the evening at Disney instead of getting in late at OKW.

Thanks!!

We are south of DC (about 30 minutes north of the Nice Bridge on 301 if that helps) and managed to get to just outside Jacksonville on one trip. 600 miles, we were in the car for a total of 12-13 hours including a meal stop and probably 1-2 quick bathroom breaks. That is leaving at 6am. Then had just under 300 miles the next day. The other time we drove, we had more traffic and bad weather and in the same amount of time only made it to Savannah. This trip (we leave in 10 days!), we are staying with relatives in NC and then will drive all the way to Orlando the next day. I think that is 600 miles right there, so another long day in the car.
