I just found out about a HUGE scrapbook flea market that is going to be held in Damascus MD IT IS A MUST GO!!!!

Scrapbook Stores from the Tri-state area will be offering their left over scrapbook items for sale at riduculous prices (sorry typing wording from flyer lol)
7 scrapbook stores and 40 plus individual vendors, independent consultants, stampers and much more.
Album embosser on site (this is not me.)

Spinning this could hurt a girls pocketbook big time . I almost didn't tell hubby . He is allways looking for bargains . He has more patience for shopping sometime than me . May have to check my calander . Sounds like a trip on the "road to Damascus " . Checked mapquest , this is about 4 hours away from us . PammyJo we could pick you up on the way.

Hi! I'm fairly new to this board and scrapbooking but this sounds like a great thing and I checked and it's only 2 hours from me. (I'm in Hershey, PA). I'd love to go down there and get some great supplies for good prices!!

Perfect timing! 3 days after I get back from Disney. I might have to put a little $$ aside! I only live about 20 minutes away! This might be the only thing exciting to ever happen in the town Damascus. After the sale be sure to stop at the Ice Cream stand called Jimmy Cone! The best snow balls around with softserve ice cream inside. Try the skylight flavor

Does this mean I have journal boxes or not ? I'm confused ? Also would you guys mind a journal box with a fall phase already printed on it ? It would be printed on vellum attached with a gold brad ( making the printed journaling removable if you don't like it ) . I have the new Jazzy cutting pattern and made a mock up for the fall swap . I used both patterns and chalked the edges . It looks sort of like a tag , but it is definetly meant to be used as a journal box.


OK , this was suppose to be on the thread about the fall swap . I'm on benedryl today and really just need to go to bed and rest .

Well it sounds like we've got a few. Who is up for meeting at say 12:30 for lunch outside the shop? I just picked that time, anytime is fine with me. I'm in, and since nicurn is coming with me she'll be there too! Can we expect to see anyone else?

I like to join to. I really want some of my albums embossed. Their really is nothing much in the town of Damascus just a few fast food places. I'm pretty sure it would be held at their fire hall. I can't think of anything else that is big enough there. They have a LSS but it is way too small.

I'll take my family to Jimmie Cone sometime in the next few weeks and check on directions and where it is at. It is very easy to get too.

Camrynmami if you are coming from Hershey it is very easy for you to get there. Really is a little less then 2 hours. Pammy Jo you can take White's ferry or just go down 15. Instead of coming 495 to 270.

What do you guys think of picking up a few of those "mickey" paint chips from Home Depot and using them as badges to identify ourselves at the flea market ? What about lime green ? I may put mine around my neck with one of those badge holders with a string. Still hoping hubby is serious abot missing a church day . We will probably have the girls with us also .

all , I would really like to go to this flea market but, alas I have asked one friend and my sister if they would like to take a road trip and the both think I am nuts. I said no just a scrapaholic who would like to meet her scrapping buddies.

I thought it would be fun to get a group of ladies together and take a road trip.


DH says he doesn't think I'd save as much as I'd spend on gas and a hotel room for the night. SO, I guess I give.

I'm not planning on attending the flea market as much as I would love to.
