what is on your Menu? Looks like I will be doing the cooking. I do not mind at all, it is just for 5 of us. I've decided not to go overboard and burden myself with alot of work.

I am thinking of the following:

A fresh garden salad
A small ham
macaroni salad
a veggie (maybe corn)
dinner rolls
mashed pot.
then something easy for dessert.

Any suggestion's?

What is on your menu? Maybe I will get an idea from you!

I'm having dinner at my house this year for my family and MIL and Mother.
I was going to make a small spiral ham/ and a small Turkey but DH and DS decided they wanted my MIL to make homemade pasta/with sauce (they call them fingers but are really like a knoche).
I'll make a salad and I'm buying cheesecakes at The Cheesecake Factory at the end of the week. I don't think it gets any easier than that for me!
I'll probably rent a couple of movies for afterwards and we will probably play board games too. I Love Holidays

My DM called yesterday and said that she talked to my DB and they want to have it on Saturday (which I already had other plans for) SO the saturday menu will be

and whatever else I can think of that I can make ahead and is easy.

dh has to work this year till 1 so he won't get home till 1:30. dd12 and I will go to church and then come home and get it all ready to be served at noon for 6 and dh will eat when he gets home. the menu is: ham, augratin potato, mashed potato, garden salad, relish tray with mom's devieled eggs, greenbean casserole, rolls, butter lamb, cupcakes, and candy display. I think that's it !

My mom is bringing:
a seven layer salad

My MIL & FIL are bringing:
Potato, cheese, and sauerkraut peirogies

For dessert I bought:
a chocolate mouse cake
and cream puffs
I may still make some chocolate chip cookies (depends on time)

I'm hosting, and doing some of the cooking. Pretty much everyone that comes is bringing something to help out. There are 20 of us in all, including kids - both my family & DH's family (immediate).

The menu includes:

Dinner:

twice baked potatoes

Dessert:

ice cream cake
mini cream puffs

So many people are serving ham on this thread! I don't like that ham, so we won't be having it. I am making turkey (a turkey breast, not the whole thing), salad, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, new potatoes, corn pudding, beets, green beans, and dinner rolls. For dessert I will have coconut custard pie and cheesecake. I am making the cheesecake, but not the pie.

No traditional Easter menu here. It'll be boiled crawfish &/or crabs for us! Bar-b-que at the In-laws on our 2nd stop.
