MJS.......to me, other than the,"Is it a healthy diet" question, I think there is one VERY important question you have to ask yourself after you've investigated all possible (for you) diets.
Which one can I live with FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?!
This is where I went wrong before. I decided to do a low-fat, high exercise diet. Well, I lost the weight. Yup, I was 126 pounds. Then I went back to eating all the things I couldn't live without, regular salad dressing, half and half in my coffee, Buffalo wings, burgers smothered in cheese.....you get the picture. And ofcourse I stopped exercising. Yeah, you guessed it. Let's just put it this way, I have over 100 pounds to lose.
For me, I can tell myself that I can only have one potato a month or pizza every once in a while, but I can't live without butter and cream and cheeseburgers(without the bun ofcourse

). But for some, they can give up the fat and couldn't live without a bagel every morning for breakfast. It's all in what YOU want.
