For those of you bringing back the Magic

We are sailing on the first cruise out of Port Canaveral since the Magic went west. We are sailing on 9/3 and we are getting a little worried about the weather. For those of you who are bringing the Magic back to us please keep us posted as far as your progress and any changes there may be in your intinerary due to hurricane Hillary. Have a great cruise and we look forward to seeing you!

DisneyDad, I'm not on the Magic but looking at the NOAA site it looks like they may get some rain at Cabo San Lucas but after that they will be going south and Hillary will be going north so each hour will put more distance between them. I doubt there will be any itinerary changes.

My guess is that your 9-3 sailing is pretty safe unless something develops in the Atlantic/Caribbean between now and then.

Oh no I just heard the Magic has been rerouted due to hurricane Hillary...please keep us updated and I hope everyone is well. Please keep us posted and let us know if you are still scheduled to arrive back to Port Canaveral on time.

According to http://www.maps-of-mexico.com/ Manzanillo is between Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco on the coast. So the Magic really is just swapping a sea day on Tuesday for a Sea day on Monday. It the "rerouting" shouldn't affect her arrival at PC at all.
