We must have made reservations together, lol.

Same arrival & departure dates, same night for mvmcp, and if the cp you are referring to on the 12th is Crystal Palace... We might be seeing you there!

I'm another one going from 11/30 to 12/6. But I'm not excited I can't explain it but I think I'm worried about spending the money ... I guess the economy is making me edgy. I'm sure that I'll be psyched as soon as I land in MCO ... but until then ... ugh.

I am so excited I could just scream!!! We really need this vacation!! My DH doesn't usually work so much out of town, but of course the past 3 weeks, he's been away. On top of yesterday morning my dad was brought to the ER, he just had a quad bypass in feb and wasn't feeling good. He's ok though and home. Oh yeah and did I mention that we got 6 inches of snow Monday morning in this lovely little city I live in, in Central NY!! Oh yeah and the snowblower isn't out yet, so we have to shovel.

But what got me really into this vacation today was when I picked my DD(15) up from school today she was telling me about her bestfriend(15) that is going with us got her postcard from a very special fairy godmailer!!!! Her friend couldn't figure out how disney knew that she was going with us and that her favorite character was Belle. Then DD explained about the paying it forward and she thought it was so cool. (It is so cool that 15 year olds still think that Disney is cool.) And then DD said "can you believe that we are going next week?" OMG IT IS NEXT WEEK!!!! Not packed, just stuff for owers locker, but I don't care. We leave Friday morning at 7:15 am from Syracuse, NY and will be in Orlando by 10:30ish!!!!! On top of we are meeting my sister, my niece and son, my nephew, another sister and we are meeting up with my other nephew who lives in Orlando and works for Disney!!!! We are having a little family reunion!!!

Sorry for going on and on, but in 9 more sleeps we will be going to WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! Oh yeah and MVMCP on 12/2!!!! Life is sweet!!!

Deep breaths Wow you need a vacation Have a wonderful time We leave friday from Buffalo NY and arrive in FL at 2:45 pm. I'm so excited too! That's neat that your 15 yr old is still excited about it .

We are flying down on 12/05, staying 8 nights at a Condo in Windsor Hills, and then staying our last night, CL at AKL. (Our first time at a deluxe, and even though we can barely afford one night, I am so excited!) We have 2 dd's, 1 & 3, and they are going to love the animals!!! We have devoted our last 2 days to just exploring and enjoying the resort and all it has to offer.
We will be flying home late on 12/14 and we are renting a car from Alamo.

This is our first holiday trip, so I can't wait to see all the decorations.

We are going to our first MVMCP on 12/09. It will be a late night for the girls, but hey... if they conk out in their stroller, and mommy & daddy get to spend some time sightseeing while they are quiet, that's fine with us w

I am still stressing over the packing... really trying to limit the amount of stuff we bring, wanting to stick with 2 big suitcases for all 4 of us. The airport is hard enough with a double stroller, 2 carseats, 2 kids... then all our luggage

Should I bring the winter coats???

I have been visiting the Disigns board, and we have made several family tshirts, that people have been nice enough to design for us.

We're getting pretty excited! Can't wait to hear everyone elses plans.

well I dont think winter coats are needed. When we went in Dec of 2004 some of the days felt like they were in the 80's and the nights in the 50's but again it was vice versa on some days.

Bring some sweatshirtsand track pant but dont forget the shorts and sunscreen. I wore shorts pretty much all day and a few days sweat shirt with shorts and sandles.

Keep in mind the pools and water parks are heated.Just have fun and enjoy.

We are leaving dec 5th and going to universal studios and ioa on dec 6th. then the next day is no parks, but resort hopping to enjoy the resort decorations and dtd to have earl of sandwich and build our own light sabres and collection of mr patato head parts.

then the next day we check in for 9 days at Disney...then we come home from disney we have 5 days off before head to work and then it's 3 days till Christmas and off for 4 days. This truly rocks...

Are you kidding if it was up to our DD we would go at least twice a year and stay much longer!! We would be bringing our DS (21) but he has to work!!! I am so glad that I started to bring the kids when they were younger and now they have learn to appreciate the little things that Disney has. She even loves the countries at EPCOT!! Except for scary worker in Germany that stalked her and her bestfriend one year, and then we saw him the next year too!!! You could tell that he was just after anything that he could get!!!

Hey All! DH and I will be there 11/28 to 12/4! First time in 5 years without daughter and granddaughter and will be at MVMCP on December 2nd! We are soooooo excited since we can realy do what we want instead of catering to the "Girls". Have a great time!

Well I am trying to be happy about this trip but you will see from my posts on the community board that I definetely need this vacation. With everything I have been through and everything I am going to have to go through it will be some good memories. I will be the one in the wheelchair most of the time with the dh and ds 17 tagging along taking turns pushing me. We are going Dec 2-7.

We Leave in 20 days, It is 28F, 3 inches of snow but we are all happy because we are so close to leaving. Christmas shopping all done, almost all packed(don't need T-shirts, shorts, or flip-flops right know) YEAH!!!!!!

Lets see its 31° & windy here and snow, snow and more snow for the past week and looks like all the rest of the week (we are in the snow belt - cleveland)

So cold & snow vs warm fun florida sun and disney you make that choice lol

We leave 12/1- 12/4 MVMCP 12/2.

I hate to pack due to not knowing the weather, I never traveled in the winter.

I dont know to bring sandals or shoes.

DH and I are flying down Monday morning, Dec 1 and staying through Dec 8. We'll be at MVMCP on Dec 2. I'm just worried now about staying healthy until the trip is over. Everyone is sick here in our area, colds, stomach bugs, you name it. I still have a few things on my list to do but I'm not going to pack until the weekend before we leave. We aren't going with kids so it's much easier to pack for two adults. I have my list from last year to help pull everything together. I'm just so excited it's almost here.

I can sooo relate! We fly out Dec 5 for 9 nights at CBR. It is our first stay in a mod. At the time, the upgrade didn't seem like that much extra. My DH works for General Motors. Now with all the bad news swirling for the auto industry a mod upgrade seems out of line. . .heck a trip at all seems out of line! I know I will be excited once I start packing. . .but I've never had such a blah sense before a vacation!
