I just read about the Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading competitions going on December 4-11. This involves around 60 football teams and 400 cheer/dance squads in the Wide World of Sports area.

If your guests are waiting to make reservations, especially at the value resorts, they are going to fill up fast.

they are usually housed at port orleans riverside and all star sports I think!

Last year our guests had three rooms booked at All Star Sports, and upon check in they were moved to All Star Movies. I can only assume it was due to Pop Warner, and yes rooms were hard to come by especially closer to the date of our wedding.

If you are in town during that time, try to check out the Christmas Day Parade tapings, December 3-5? last year. We were able to score tickets to one day of taping which was supposed to be Celine Dion and the Jonas Brothers, but was actually rained out. There were links on the Theme Parks and Podcast boards I believe sometime near the end of October beginning of November, and those chosen were notified near Thanksgiving. good to be aware of, but they are always there that time of year. historically, this was a slower time - mousefest and other fan meets did/do take place this time of year - but its been slowly getting more busy. comparitively, its still a "slower" time and the same ADR "rules" are applicable!!
