For those considering Deluxe AP's....

I just got mine from Costco for $269 that includes a $50 Disney Gift card that must be redeemed by October 31, 2009...

Costco just received their order late last night, so they are not out on the floor, but if you talk to one of their workers there, they will help you out!

Is it just California stores that does this? We have a few Costcos around us in Portland and I was hoping they would carry them too? And when you say they have to be redeemed by late October, does that mean the gift card, or the AP? Our AP's expire October 25th I think and we will be down there then, I would imagine... $50 to Disney sounds great! So when you buy the AP's do you just get a plastic card to take to the ticket booths for exchange?

It's actually just the So Cal Costco's that are supposed to get these. We don't have them up here in Nor Cal. And yes, you get a voucher ticket that you take to Guest Services or the ticket booths to exchange, if you've had an AP in the past 2 years they have your photo on file and you get your new AP right away. You get your $50 gift card at the same time.

These are the new ones, the old one's are supposed to be redeemed by May 29 or 31..

If you are a Costco member of course a non so cal can purchase it. I am from Northern CA and I just did this deal about 2 weeks ago. I had to go to LA so I called the Burbank Costco, (it's right off the I-5) bought it, and later that day went to DL and turned it in and got my gift card which I will use next month.

We just activated our Costco AP's when we were at DLR this week. Our friends went to DLR in Feb. and picked up the vouchers for us and they sat at our house for a couple of months until we could get to DLR. They don't ask for ID or zip code or anything - they are just being sold in the So. Cal. Costcos. Any Costco member can buy them and anyone can use them. It was really easy - we took the vouchers (which look like parkhoppers) to the ticket booth and exchanged them for a pass that allowed entry to DLR for the day and had to exchange the pass for our AP's at the Bank on Main Street before the end of the day. (Bank didn't close until midnight) We got 5 gift cards at the ticket booth and had the choice of what cards we wanted and since they had 5 choices we got one of each. We also went to DCA first, instead of DL and then went to DL later to watch fireworks and headed to the bank. It was easy and we love having our AP's.

Where in N. CA are you? I'm in Santa Cruz and none of the Costcos in this area got the AP vouchers, only southern California stores.

Which one? I WENT to the costco on Colman Ave and asked them in person they said it was just a So Cal item. They gave me the phone # of the one in Burbank and I called and they said they had them blah blah blah..... I would be interested in knowing which Northern CA Costco had the Deluxe AP's. Now they did have the City Passes which is different.

So then these tickets are available in some Northern Ca. locations? I believe you can order them on line too. I remember reading a time ago, on this forum, about that. Is that still the case?
