For those concerned about swimming in March

It's 55 degrees right now (9:30pm), and the pools are jam packed at POR! I'm sitting here doing laundry and can't believe how many people are swimming. Just thought I would mention that....

They must all be from the northern states! I'm coming from Michigan, 55 sounds nice about right now, but I don't think I would want to swim in that cold weather! Power to them! I like my weather mid 80s and the water about mid 80.

Hopefully it will be nicer by the time we go. March 29- April 2. If not, then hopefully there will be more available at the moderate resort so I can enjoy the hot tub.

All Disney pools are heated.....

it's probably mostly kids; my girls would swim in anything above freezing if i let them.

All WDW Resort Pools are heated year round to 82 degrees.

My kids have swam on every trip to WDW, one in Jan and two in Feb. and some of those days were down right chilly and windy!

One time in San Diego my kids were the only ones in a resort pool when the temp was around 60, very windy and cloudy. Dh and I were huddled behind a waterfall wall, bundled up, "enjoying" a cold beer while the kids alternated between swimming and running into the hot tub! They thought it was a blast!

We live in Texas and I can't take anything but warm warm warm. Even if the pool is heated, I just hate getting out when it's cold. A few years back we went to San Diego for Spring Break. The pool was heated but it was too cool for me. One night they got the controls messed up and the pool was heated to the same temp as the hot tub. It was terrific!

Sure doesn't feel like 82 when the outside temperature is 55....I hate the disney pools until the outside temp is at least 78....
