I would answer a resounding YES!!!!

DD's and I flew out a few days before hubby so we could do HP. We stayed two nights at the Hard Rock to get the on-site guest Express Pass.

All 3 of us are BIG Harry Potter fans - honestly, just that section of IoA and the FJ ride/castle were worth the WHOLE trip to me. We did, of course, enjoy the other parts of the parks as well......and we enjoyed our time at Disney with hubby, my cousin and her hubby....

But FJ and WWoHP was THE BEST part of the trip. I can't imagine going to Orlando without making a stop there from here on out. :cool1:

Between the awesomeness of the HP area and the great pool at the HRH - I loved, loved, loved that part of our trip!!

Thanks to all who helped with great tips, info & suggestions while I was planning. :worship:

Now you'll just have to plan your next trip. :)

I'm doing that now. We have to go to both and that makes it complicated and pricey but so much fun!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I've been fortunate enough that next month will be the third time I'm going to USF & IOA this year and I cannot wait to go back. The entire Harry Potter area is a dream come true, especially to fans. Now if only they could transform Hogwarts so you could actually sleep in it overnight.. I would never leave! :wizard:

I don't have another trip planned yet (heck - I'm not even fully unpacked....I ended up on jury duty this week!), but dd does! We bought her an annual pass to take advantage of the room savings at the HRH - she says it is too tempting not to use it & she is planning a road trip with her friends after her graduation in May! :goodvibes

Next task will be to take dh - he couldn't take off the whole week and so he missed the Universal part of our trip. He is a big HP fan too, so I MUST take him back there!

But you're right - it does make it more pricey, particularly since we are used to minimal out-of-pocket room costs since we are DVC members.

So glad you had a great experience. It always makes me sad when someone comes back and they didn't have a very good time since it is a place that we think is amazing.

Glad you enjoyed it!

We felt the same way with our Sept trip last year, so we're going back in a few weeks.:goodvibes

Those Universal Creative people have been really busy lately!

Totally agree! We always do Disney first, then we stay at Universal for about 3-4 days, can't go from no lines to standing in lines at Disney

Our of all the rides, at Diseny and Universal, my boys said the Forbidden Journey was their favorite :thumbsup2
That's saying something :):)

I can't wait to see the WWoHP and IOA. They both look like a lot of fun.

Only about a month to go before I see them. Can't wait!

So glad to hear you enjoyed it and so do we and even though its going to be the seventh straight year we have been to universal it allways seem like our first time and we can't wait til we get back this june :thumbsup2
