For The Tagless Dissers Only...

Jim,
I'm nominating you for President of the club.

Someone please second the nomination..........

I wanted to get the Christmas party started, so I put the tree up.

I'm starting the meatballs and lasagna. Could someone make a dessert?
We need to stock the bar also. I have some vodka, wine and beer on hand.

Congratulation Jim, you are now the president of the Tagless Clique!!!

I guess it don't bother me since I don't even know what a TAG is. I keep seeing threads about the TAG fairy, never went into them.

Hi Theresa,

How do I make "thanks, but not thanks" my avatar? (If it's okay with you for me to use it.)

Should we call you Theresa or Jessie?

That was very quick. I would have liked to have seen the founder of the Tagless Clique be the first President. We can still do this. I'll figure out, or have Jessie/Theresa explain to me, how to set up a poll. You could top the ballot, I've been nominated and seconded, Jessie is very active and gave us our motto (and knows how to do computer stuff), taximomfor4 has been active, honeibee is super enthusiastic, and OhMari was the second charter member.

Theresa, please - Jessie is the name of my dog :dog: :teeth:

Right click the smiley image, click Save Picture As, save it somewhere (like your desktop, for example), then go to your User CP, click Edit Avatar, scroll down to where it says Browse, click Browse, click on the smiley image you've just saved, and then click Save Changes. :)

Good Morning!
I know it isn't morning where you are, Theresa! Thanks so much for the Christmas card! It made me smile, even though I haven't had my coffee yet. What a nice gesture!
Hey--anyone gonna' be in WDW over Christmas/New year's other than me and my family?

Hi JoBird,

When I was a teenager we stayed at Fort Wilderness for Christmas/New years in '74 and '75, and The 4th of July in '75 and '76. It was really great. two of my friends came one Christmas, and one of them came again for the Bicentennial. It was great. Back then you could swim in the Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. The drinking age was 18, and Disney didn't enforce it very well. I went with my kids and Nephew to Florida in '97. We went to Disney for just two days Staying over night off site. It was not a good vacation. I was reintroduced to the fun of WDW last Christmas. I went on the spur of the moment, stayed at the CBR, and had a great time. Spur of the moment is expensive. I've since learned about renting DVC points here. I went for Thanksgiving this year in a studio at OKW. I had a great time. My friend who came with us in the '70s just moved 30 minutes from Disney earlier this year. He and his wife came over for Thanksgiving at the Fort, then we rented a boat and I showed her where a fish bit her husband by the Polynesian. I've decided that I'll probably go back every year for Thanksgiving or Christmas; a DVC member is renting me points for next Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was great, and all the Christmas decorations were up, but it wasn't the same as Christmas. It's less expensive, and less crowded at Thanksgiving, but I missed the energy and atmosphere of Christmas week.

Hi Theresa,

That was a great card; thanks. Merry Christmas.

Jim

Good Morning Everyone!!

Theresa, that card is beautiful. What a nice way to start my day.

We had a tentative WDW trip planned for February but I cancelled it in lieu of a new travel trailer. Last time we were at WDW was December 2001. I had never been there at Christmas before and it was beautiful. It is so magical with all the decorations and the candlelight processional was amazing. I would love to go back at Christmas.

Jim, as far as the office of president of our "clique",I thought you would make a great first president. I consider all of us directors. I haven't seen OhMari here for a while, anyone heard from her?

My stepmom and I (no kids, no dh) are taking a quick jaunt to WDW TOMORROW!!! I cannot miss Xmas eve festivities with my children, so I am coming home 12/24 daytime.

Do you all know what is funny? I had tried to start a tagless clique just a few days ago!! tagless wannabe's ... but someone really dropped the ball. Glad this one caught so many eyes!!

This is fun!
