For you regular attendees, I'd like to know if we can do this all in one day. We have 2 day/2 park tickets, but we'd ideally like to go for only one day.

Must See:
WWoHP
Simpsons Ride/ Springfield
Transformers
Mummy

Would Very Much Like:
Spiderman
Hulk
MIB

If we have time:
Poseidon

We plan on getting there before opening and going directly to WWoHP and would like to have lunch at the Springfield food places and have a beer. We were last at IOA in 2006, haven't been to Uni since 1996.

So - can we do it all in a day? Or should we plan on coming back for another morning? Thanks for your opinions!

Are you only interested in the attractions you've mentioned? Nothing else?

When are you going?

(Slaps forehead) duh!

We are going October 21 or 22 - either a Monday or a Tuesday. HHN is not going on either of those nights.

We are really only interested in those attractions.

Thanks!

I think if you get there at rope drop that you won't have a problem doing all that. Din't spend too much time looking around at Hogwarts, just do FJ and then go back later if you want to spend more time there. It is beautiful after dark.

According to the schedule for October, both parks have shortened hours of 9am-7pm. Are your 2-day passes the park hoppers or just the ones that allow only one park per day? You might be able to see all you've listed, but could be a rush doing so. Your best bet would be to do everything in Islands that you want before heading over to US. Transformers will probably be your longest wait time. We've walked right on MIB, Hulk, and Mummy before during the slower times.
I would head right to Islands and do Forbidden Journey first, walk past Poiseidon to see what time the next show is....usually wait 10 minutes or so, then Hulk and Spiderman on the way out of the park before heading over to US to line up for Transformers. Check out the wait time and if it's not too bad, do it then. If it's really long...45 min. or so, then go do your lunch at Simpsons first, then back to wait in line for Transformers. After that, head back to Simpsons and do the ride, then MIB right near it, and finally loop around to Mummy. If you still have time, figure out what else you'd like to see or reride. As long as you're in line before park closing, they let you finish riding the attraction. Despicable Me is a pretty neat 3D type ride right across from Shrek. It's usually lined up, but worth seeing for the special effects.

pulling up an orlando high school calendar, looks like one county has 23/24 off and another has 24/25 in october.

we usually refer to that time period as hell week.

many go to the parks when they have this time period off school.

looks like you will be good since your dates are prior to that.

Thanks for all this info, especially on the school holiday dates. Just found out last night that one of our group isn't getting in until Tuesday night, so this throws a wrench in our plans. Looks like we will get there Wednesday morning now and just have to go back on Thursday if we have more we want to see.

Trying to think flexibly - although I'm ticked that they've ruined my perfect plan!
