For the Fort Fiend who has everything..

You can purchase these at the Fort also. I too think they are very cool, but our spare mounts under the 5th wheel also, so we have no use for it. I would have one in a minute if I had a tire to use it on.

My parents have one on there TT but its white.

We have one..ours is white also. :thumbsup2

I've seen people use it as a sign display on a piece of ply wood..and also as a table..same idea. Some people are very creative!:cutie:

The first time we traveled to the Fort (Jan. 2006), we lost our spare tire cover somewhere in Georgia.

Since then, we don't even travel with a spare tire cover on.:confused3

My white one from 2003 got really faded, not to mention it didn't take to kindly to the cleaner I was using on my trailer. I bought me one of these cool black ones in June last year.

We have been to Disney 4 times sence our trip to the Fort. I have been looking for a cover. Everytime we go down there sold out. I have hed friends check it out for me sold out until a guy from work last month. They just got there shipment in at The fort. He picked me up a 28 x 8 cover. Woooohooooo I finally got my cover. Now I have to wait to get my trailer out of storage in a month to put it on. It is the same one as the OP posted about.

We use one on our TT...Then pack it away when the camper is not in use.

The white one my parents bought faded bad to. So they took it back and got another white one it faded to so they gave up. I have thought about trying one since they have switched to black.

I can't use one either. The spare to my trailer is under the trailer, and the spare to my truck is under the truck. However, I'm thinking about moving the spare from my trailer to the bed of my truck. That will make it easier to get to and reduce weight. T@Bs have an insanely low cargo carrying capacity (less than 200 lbs).

Wow we almost carry that much weight in drinks.(not really but still.) Beer, diet coke, water, (well maybe)

Yep, water, beer, soda, wine coolers, go in the back of the truck or gets bought when we get to our destination.

Yep, DW only drinks seltzer (midly flavored kind that is not available everywhere) and for this last trip we carted down like 72 qt bottles of seltzer, 4 cases of water, a case of soft drinks and like 80 cans of V-8 juice (The spicey kind - my staple for breakfast and early morning get up and go juice before the coffee) ... my guess that is around 200 to 300 lbs in drinks alone. That doesn't include the 4 wine boxes of dry food and the 150lbs total wt in our extra Norcold portable freezer. Being retired military I like to shop at the commissary and get as much as I can there and not have to buy it on the civilian market.
