For the first time in forever - I have 2 active tickers!! A Sept and Dec 2014 Trip

Nice job on the bands! I bought a cover at DW last year and ended up tossing it...drove me nuts.

We've never done Askersus for breakfast; I'll be anxious to hear what you think as we are trying to find a new place to try for breakfast.

Thanks the bands were fun to do now that they are done though I am going crazy! I am so close to Disney yet so far :rotfl:.

I am very excited about Askersus as Becky LOVES princesses and this will be the only sit down meal with just myself, my husband and the girls! :goodvibes

Okay bands are done, first up Faith's:

Becky's:

And mine:

All of them:

Last night my husband said something I NEVER thought I would hear him say.... He is excited to go to Disney!!!:hyper: pixiedust: I think as we get closer he is realizing that he will have a good time and he is looking forward to spending the time with us instead of just dropping us off at the airport.

This past weekend we were so busy, on Friday night the girls camped out in our yard with my Mother in Law. Then Sat was Becky's birthday (she turned 4) then on Sunday we took the girls to a horse farm and Faith loved it. They were able to brush the horses and walk them around . It was a busy weekend and we have spent the last few days relaxing.

The girls birthday party is about 2 weeks away so I am preparing for that, so far I have the favors and the decorations. This week the girls and I are going to make snowflakes to hang as decorations. And the guest list is growing and Faith will have some friends from school coming!

Okay so as of today 53 days away! :woohoo: I still need to get to AAA to get my husbands ticket as long as I do that before the 30 day mark we should be all set. Now I have to go do a much needed update on my TR  Thanks for checking in!

:woohoo::woohoo: for DH being excited to go to Disney.

The bands look great! Sounds like you had a good time at the horse farm.

Have fun planning the birthday party.

Good news I spoke with Dr Brown (the Children's cardiologist) today and he agrees that he heart looks good (considering) he had a different take on the symptoms though. Instead of them being psychological he suggests having her exercise 3 days a week 30 minutes a day. The way he explained it is her heart cannot pump as much blood during strenuous activity as someone who does not have a heart problem, the normal person pumps 3x more blood through their heart during exercise where Faith can only pump 2x more.

So by adding exercise into her normal routine we will be helping her heart get used to pumping more blood and this should help her exercise tolerance. He thinks we should see improvement within a month!

It is nice to know I just dont have to sit and watch her symptoms that there is something I can do to help her feel better.

So we are going to start making sure she gets 90 minutes of strenuous exercise a week and 1 hour of moderate and hopefully the symptoms improve.

We have to prepare her to walk around Disney! :yay:

I'm glad you talked to the doctor and have a plan. I think it is a good one. Let us know how she does.

Thank you! I got the idea from a thread here on the Dis: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3190181&highlight=did+you+decorate+your+magic+band+

I used nail polish for all the bands and the gems that are on the girls are also made for nails. it was actually pretty easy and I am looking forward to getting my bands for December so I can decorate those too!

ok all caught up! I'm glad Faith has a good prognosis! Might I suggest hula hooping? Such fun!

I love your bands, your rose turned out so well! It really does look like stained glass!

Also looks like we'll be there at the same time! I don't think any of our park days overlap though. Possibly one or two, I'll be posting my daily plans here soon too!

MNSSHP is SO FUN! Like awesomely awesome fun! I haven't been to MVMCP but my parents went when we were there in 2009. They had fun but did say they liked Halloween more. We went the 2nd week of December in 2009 and the crowds weren't heavy but we still got to experience all the Christmas fun! You'll love it!

Oh I forgot to ask, are you doing Halloween costumes?

I also wanted to add a helpful tip for the halloween party! Take an extra bag for trick-or-treating. They'll shove so much candy at you, especially if you're going to an early party. I suggest a drawstring one.

For the costumes I recently bought a dress from the Disney store that is similar to Minnie's so I will wear that with some ears.

Faith is going to be Sheriff Callie

Becky changes every day but she is going to be some princess, first it was Anna, then Belle and now it is Sofia. My husband will not dress up he loves halloween but he is not the type of wear a costume in Disney!

Now all of this might change, the girls found out that I was going to be Minnie and they both thought dressing up as Minnie would be fun so we could all match! So we will see what they end up being!

Arrival Day!:

Our arrival day is Sunday Sept 7th. We have a 2:10pm flight out of Manchester NH and we should arrive at MCO around 5:30. This night is pretty basic we will get our bags then our car and head to the house and possibly on the way stop and get some dinner. My hope is we can be at the house by 8:00 so we can all get to bed early to prepare for our first day at the park!

Day 1:

We will wake up bright and early for a meal with

At:

I am very excited about this meal as I have heard great things about Poohs stuffed toast and I cannot wait to try it! This ADR is for 8:30 so we should be done by 9:30 and the park would have only been open for a half hour:cool1:

After breakfast I will most likely head over to see what he wait is for Anna and Elsa if it is not bad (an hour or less) then we will most likely wait. For this day I am hoping to get fastpasses for Anna and Elsa (not likely), 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Meet Mickey in Town Square and Under the Sea ride. Once we use up our three fastpasses I will see what is available later in the day.

One ride I really want to do this time is:

Every time I have been in Disney I swear it has been too cold so this year knowing it will be hot and humid this is on my must do list!

So far this is what day 1 looks like I will know more when I can book my fastpasses in 18 days!! :cheer2:

Hi Megan!! I'm Ann and I followed you over from the September planners thread. Your family is adorable and your parents are cute, too! I'm so sorry to hear about Faith's struggles --- it's so hard to have a child with a physical condition isn't it? But we are strong people and soldier on! AND GO TO DISNEY!!!:hyper: Your dress for MNSSHP is very nice. Your hubby could always wear a tshirt that reads "This IS my costume", as I've seen those before. Well, I'll be looking forward to your next update!!! :cool1:

Megan, great upate. Love the photo running up to Pooh.

Crystal Palace...my favorite character meal! Love the Puffed French Toast (it usually covers my plate).

Is Under the Sea if you don't get Anna and Elsa (you have four FP+ mentioned)?

I told Mark he has to go on Splash Mountain too as I don't think we've been on it since 2011.

Hi Ann! Thank you for joining us!

It has been hard with Faith's condition but she is on the healthy end of Heart Kids so I am so very grateful. The fact that she is still going on her initial repair is amazing :woohoo: Yes Disney helps with everything!!

Thank you I liked the dress the minute I saw it and had been debating for about 3 months whether or not to buy it. I already have plans to wear this for the girls birthday party too! :)

I am going to have to find a shirt like that he would love it!! Thanks for the idea.

Becky has been in love with pooh since that first trip when she was 18 months old! Thankfully there was no line behind us because she did not want to let him go :lovestruc I can't wait to expirence Crystal Palace for breakfast I have only had lunch there so far and it was really good!

Is Under the Sea if you don't get Anna and Elsa (you have four FP+ mentioned)?

Yes Under the Sea will be if we do not get Anna and Elsa, for my Magic Kingdom days I will have 4 fastpasses listed as I am going to try to A&E but unsure whether or not I will get them.

I told Mark he has to go on Splash Mountain too as I don't think we've been on it since 2011.

Splash Mountain is a must for me I can't wait to expirence it!

This day my husband and I will be getting up early for:

I am so excited for this :yay::banana::yay: we need to be there at 8:30 but we are going to be at the park no later than 8:15. For lunch I know we will go to the Columbia Harbour House I am not sure what the meal options will be yet.

My parents are with the girls this morning and they are heading to:

Now my Mom loves the Safari so I know they will ride that and she also mentioned that they will go see Festival of the Lion King and probably see some characters. For their lunch they are going to eat at:

I am pretty sure we will be out of the tour at 1 and then Erkki and I will head to AK to meet up with my parents and the girls. I will want to ride Everest and I know Erkki will want to skip (he did not feel good after he rode it a few years ago) so he will wait with the girls while my Mom, Dad and myself ride it!

Maybe they will endure another showing of FOTLK because I really want to see it. For this day I will try to get fastpasses for Everest, the Safari, and maybe Dinosaur. I am still unsure about Dinosaur as I have never done this and really no not know what to expect.

When we are done at the park we will probably go to a restaurant off site or maybe go to Downtown Disney.

My brother and his family will arrive around 8pm and then it will be bed so we can be rested for day 3!

Thanks for the link! I did buy some glow in the dark nail polish to put on mine. Did you put a clear coat nail polish over top?

Your plans look great! I really hope you get a Anna and Elsa FP+.

I am hoping all of us can do Splash Mountain this trip. DD was a millimeter to short for the Swings (ride with adult) this past week at Busch Gardens and it was 40' so I really hope she can get there by September especially since she really wants to ride it. The last time DH and I did it was in 2009.
