The Race to Dakar, though without Ewan, was amazing in its own right.

I think my fave scene was when they had their bikes fixed in Mongolia!

I bought it for my Dh for Christmas because he has a Dakar. It was an added bonus that it "stars" Ewan. I LOVE him and I really enjoyed watching the dvd's with my Dh!

For those who are fans of this, they will be filming a journey through South America in May or June of this year. It is either going to be called Long Way to Go or Long Way up if they start in the tip of Argentina!

I watched the first one - the Long Way Round - and read the book. And saw most of the Long Way Down. Both were very interesting - and getting to watch Ewan McGregor didn't hurt either.

My BF got that set last year (he loves their BMWs) and, while we still haven't finished Long Way Down, even I have really enjoyed what we've seen. Ewan is definitely a bonus, but it's a really neat/different side of him to see.
