For the 2nd time this week, my dh got a phone message in another language

The messages are quite long (3-4 minutes). At one point, it sounds like the person is giving an address, at another a telephone number. The two messages are not exactly alike. The only thing we can understand is his name. We're not even sure what language it is but do not believe it's French or Spanish. He recently applied for and received a passport and just submitted a visa application, but the first call came the day he mailed that. Any ideas?

Probably somebody looked up the name on the internet looking for someone they know or are related to with the same or a similar name-in other words -wrong number-ya gotta love the internet.

Is it on a cell phone? My dh kept getting these calls from an oriental guy with a very thick accent. Apparently whoever had the phone number before my DH was some employment agency guy. It stopped after a few calls.

the same thing happened to me all the time before i got married. our name was a very common asian last name but we are not asian. we used to get phone calls in foreign languages ALL the time. LOL
