For Spring Break....Pop with Skyliner or Gran Destino?

Is Gran Destino worth the $1k more for the week over Pop and the Skyliner. Going last week of March 2020 (Spring Break) We are not renting a car. We are on a QS dining plan so don’t plan on using the sit down restaurants either at DT, but might use Dalia’s Lounge for the view. How has the lines been with Skyliner at Pop is transportation between the parks much faster than when the resort only had buses?

If you’re doing QS, I’d definitely stick to Pop. I prefer the QS selections at Pop and AofA over CSR. I also prefer the buses at Pop to CSR, so even if the skyliner is down, I think the Pop or AofA buses are a better option.

I think Gran Destino Tower is worth $1 grand. I would plan on adding a budget line item for Uber or Lyft rides with either resort for either long bus waits or when Skyliner isn’t operating.

Never stayed at CSR, so can't help you there. Just got back from a trip with Pop and the Skyliner; loved it! Skyliner, when it has a line, moves fast. The only time we had to opt for a bus to EPCOT or DHS was to get there extra early when the Skyliner wasn't running that early.

Yes we are trying Uber/Lyft versus renting a car this trip (we always rent a car). Figure if we keep Uber/Lyft <$30 a day we are coming out ahead because of parking fees.

We ended up switchng to Pop our Budget had to change since we booked in July...and the Magical Stay offer with room discount and $30 x 3 gift cards really sweetened the deal. We have stayed at Pop our last four trips and really wanted to switch it up. However as everyone has been discussing WDW Resort rates are getting soooooooooooo expensive. Price you pay to be in the bubble I suppose.
