Rumplemom--

You said in a previous post that your towncar company allowed you to call them 45 minutes before you wanted to be picked up.

What towncar company were you using? This sounds like a good option for my family. We don't want to be tied down to a particular time for transfer from Universal to AKL if we don't have to be.

I would suggest, if you don't want to be tied down to a time, the best option would be to taxi it.

Checker cab is contracted with Disney to provide transportation from the AKL.

The approx. fare from AKL to Universal is $30, most likely less than the towncar, and will be there when you need them--at your convience.

Likewise, City cab, Yellow cab and Diamond cab are contracted with Universal and will provide the same service for approx. $30 as well. You may be able to contact a cabbie directly to transport at your will as well.
