For recent SSR purchases - when is your use year??

I think we are going to add on at SSR, just wondering what use year they are in right now.

Hi Paula, when we queried about buying a new contract a few weeks ago they were selling September and December use years.

If you're just doing an add-on, they will give you whatever UY you currently have in your master contract. It's only for brand new purchases that they are trying to push people toward September and December.

We just did the add on at SSR and we had to take April as our UY, the same as our original BCV contract. They won't even let you take a new UY if you are adding more than the minimum. I wanted to get 150 points with a Sept. or Dec. UY and try and get 2004 points but they wouldn't let me. HTH

I bought in 12/04 and my UY is Oct.

I had an April use year for my OKW and BCV contracts, both are smaller contracts purchased through the resale market. I was able to change to a December use year with a 150 point SSR contract, which more fits our travel patterns.

I am in the process of selling off the OKW contract, and may also sell the BCV contract. Shocking as it sounds, not everyone in this family thinks we should max out on points owned.

Originally I believe I was told August(just a couple weeks ago) as well but I requested December. November was not available, I would be curious to know why I could get Oct. and Dec. but not November.

Apparenlty from what I understand from my Guide, they only have so many points they sell in each UY and I think for each building. They try to spread the points out evenly over all UY's. In my case I had August and when I decided October would better suite my needs (as I perceived them today) I was told they weren't available. Then I recieved a call from my Guide that he happen to check the system and October was available. He said they probably came from someone who decided not to buy after all. Seemed to make sense to me.

Not all months are available as a "Use Year." The months not offered are January, May, July and November.

We just joined about a month ago and our use year is September.

We just joined April 30th and our use year is September. We don't close until August since the building isn't finished yet.

When we bought last month, they were offering a September or October use year. As we also added some BWV points and there were some available in a December use year, we received a December use year for both SSR and BWV. Out guide also mentioned that there were March '06 use year availabilities as well.
