I read that Budget Rental Car may do a drivers license check to see if you have a bad driving record. Avis also may do a DMV check.

I was wondering for anyone who has rented a car recently, did the rental car agent ask you any questions about your driving record? If so, what questions did they ask? Which company did you rent from?

I'd appreciate any input you could provide.

Thank you

I rent from National and am a member of the Emerald Club so they have my info. on file so when I rent I just head to the cars...no questions of my driving record when I get to the checkout booth.

Below is copied from the National web site on what they consider when they look at someones driving record.
