I really liked the book. It took me about 7 hours. I don't think snape though works for Voldemort. I think Dumbledore persuaded Snape to do it so he can still get info for the OotP. those are my two cents

I loved it! I wasn't surprised about Dumbledore dieing b/c he needed to die so harry could fight Voldemort in the end. I knew Harry and Ginny were going to hook up sooner or later which was AWESOME! and I also know that ROn and Hermione will date too! I thought the book was really good and I have a lot of opinions but it is way to much to type! I think the last fight will be in the school!

I usually love the harry potter books, but i was disapointed with this one. I felt as though she has just sprang a whole new story line on us, that could have been developed a lot more in the previous books, esspecially since there is only one left it is not pretty predictable. I was also shocked about Dumbledores death, although i felt that it showed his human qualities. I was very glad i only started reading it after i got back from Disney, it would have ruined my holidays if i had read it there.

i don't think that J.K.Rowling will leave out Hogwarts from the book altogether. It has played a role too important for it to be left out. Harry will probably be at Hogwarts at some point (even just for a day) :

I dont like this idea, the whole point of the 7 books, and 7 book only were to depict only his time at hogwarts. I would hate for it to go so amuck from her original plans. I also hope that she will not write anymore after the 7, but leave harry alive so that her fans can write follow on on the internet about his future life, killing him off would be betraying millions of fans out there. When an autor writes a book its a promise to their fans, i hope she doesnt break this promise

I actually would respect her so much for her character if she killed off harry, even though she won't. I am not upset about Dumbledore because it was necessary for him to die. Remember, she does nothing without reason in the books. Everything is foreshadowed, or prepared. And i think this was the best out of all them, even GoF. Oh and I agree. Something will happen at the wedding or harry will get a note from Dumbledore, convincing him he needs to be at the school

I just realised!! (This may have been said, i'm not sure)
That when Harry was in Potions and Slughorn had the Love potion and hermione explained what it smelt like (like what you favourite smell(s) are/is) Harry smelt what he smelt when he was with Ginny so he obviously liked her before he just never knew it

but, maybe DumbleDore wanted this all to happen, I am not sure, but DumbleDore is a very smart man and wouldn't let someone like Snape kill him
