I'm sorry to hear that she lost the wee one. Words seem hollow but I can only hope that with time and support from family and friends that she will find some level of peace with the loss.
We're sending more prayers her way and I think the support group is a very good idea.

That is very true that hair grows back and you can always redye the hair. And you are right to make them wait to put any holes or permanent markings on their bodies until they are old enough not to regret it.

Ah yes....which is why I totally understand why y'all are going to DLR instead of WDW this year.

Good Morning everyone! Hope everyone is having a good Saturday so far. Chris and I are just relaxing right now. I cleaned last night and moved some furniture around. I've gotta finish the cleaning. We also have to go to the grocery store today. Fun times!

Did you all know that Microsoft put out a new version of the Internet Explorer? I downloaded it and am trying it out. So far it's pretty snappy to load web pages and such. But I think I still like FireFox/Opera better. We'll see.

I slept in today.....ahhh! So nice. I was having some funky dreams though!!

Mike, glad Bean had a better day. And glad her and Roxy liked the pics of the dogs. They look like best buds in the pic, but they sure brawl a lot. hehe Chance is still such a puppy so he's constantly pawing at Merlin and Merlin doesn't like it (who can blame him, that would be like Shaq trying to step on ME. LOL)

LeeLee, loved that story! You have great stories and you tell them SO well! I see nothing has changed with sweet B!! I love his faith!

Carla, sounds fun. I wish I COULD rearrange furniture. My bedroom is practically stuck the way it is because of our big window, the positioning of the closet, and of the bathroom. And my living room is stuck too because of our fireplace and the open floor plan. It's hard to explain but the way we have it is the only way it works.

So I went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk the other day! it was soo much fun! and on friday I went to Cache Creek and finished the rest of the paperwork.. I have my orientation on Monday the 30th! the uniform is so ugly but oh well.. its provided and washed and pressed and everything there.. I dont even get to take it him.. which is nice.. dont have to worry about it.. I found out I get a 10% discount on gas! and a free health club membership! and other cool stuffs... I am excited about finally starting to work there!


BTW I am uploading pictures of the Boardwalk for a mini TR for you guys!

Chance is a Great Dane. He's almost a year old now. They can grow up until a year and a half. So he's still got some growing to do.

After thinking it over, and then talking to my Dr, it was probably from walking Chance. He weighs MORE than me now and since he's still a puppy he's always pulling and I always have to yank back on him.

Well, pierced parts do grow closed. I've let several of them go. I'm down to 9. And no scars from the ones that are closed. Of course, I don't have any of those awful gigantic piercings, either.

I am with you on the hair. It grows out, or can be redyed no big thing but when Kacy my almost 16 year old wanted gauged earrings I was not so nice. Eighteen and you can pay for it baby and even then I am not for it. You want a good job some day.

And I am on the west coast too. Everybody is usually asleep before I come on.

That would definitely be something she regrets someday. Especially on a girl. Even I'm not a fan of those.

Tat thanks for the video link. Braeton LOVED it. We all did!!

O.k. a Braeton story.....
Today we were running around trying to take care of some business. We let my brother take our minivan on a youth Trip to San Antonio so we were in my DHs little car with no working AC. Not a biggie since it isn't hot yet right???
All was fine for @ 10 min and Braeton started coughing and coughing and coughing. We pulled up to a gas station and DH got out to get gas. I had just said I'm going to have to call his DR and before we go anywhere we need to go back home and try a breathing treatment. Braeton was trying to say he would be fine in the middle of all the coughing and wheezing and I said O.k. Braeton we'll pray. Well don't you know about that time My Dad pulls up in front of us! i jump out and say Dad What kind of Inhaler do you have?" He blankly looks up at me and i say again What kind of Inhalor DO you HAVE???

"HUH??? Paper?? What kind of Paper???"

And then I realize his hearing aids aren't in. "IN HAY LOR What kind OF INhaler DO YOU HAVE???? "

OH 2 kinds.
"DAD BRAETON NEEDS AN INHALER. HE'S CHOKING."
And then he finally caught on!! he quickly checked to see which one he had and said call Braetons Dr and see if he can have it. I just leaned over and gave Braeton a puff.
It worked great and when we got ready to leave Braeton told me see God took care of me and now I can play with E.. My niece had been in the truck with my Dad and he took them both back to the church where he was working since that is where we were headed also.
And by the way I called the Dr later because it was a mix of Abuterol and something else I can't remember right now. it was fine and she called him in some Abuterol inhalers.
You know God can use anything to remind you HE is in control. Including an Asthma Attack and you Dad driving up with an inhaler in his truck when Everyone thinks you are out of town. (We were supposed to be in La today!) And most of all a precious child who not for one moment was scared. He knows that if you pray God will work it all out!!

Aww, glad it kept you all amused!

That is a cute story. I need to win the lottery. Do you think praying would help that situation? I guess I also need to actually play the lottery.

I haven't used IE in so long. I am a huge fan of Firefox. There are still some things that it won't let me do though, so I keep my IE.
