Hi LeeLee

Hi Chele...HOw aer ya too?

Hard to hear as Trent watching his movies on his computer behind me
Looks cute, but am missing a lot![]()

Hope yall have a good day Marshay!Big Sister shirt sounds neat!!
I am watching NCIS on USA right now. Loren and I took the recycling out earlier. We had so many cans and bottles built up. I decided I drink way too much Diet Pepsi.![]()
Thanks -- we had an awesome day!! It is so cool that DD is old enough now to be interested in science and some culture.
We went to the National Aquarium (in DC) and after seeing all the fish and ocean animals, we were able to catch a free show of Flumpa ("Science Rocks"). It was cute. The wife sings science songs and the husband is dressed up as a huge tree frog and dances.
Then we went to the Old Post Office Pavilion for lunch and rode the elevator to the 12th floor for a view of the city (it's free, no tickets needed and no lines and a great alternative to the Wash Monument).
Then we went to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum to see the Mammals, Dinasaurs (big hit!) and ocean exhibit.
In the Insect Zoo, all 3 of us held a caterpillar, beetle and Madagascar Hissing Cockroach! It was super cool. I'll post pics later.
I thought DD might be scared of it but she held her hand out and let them crawl over it. Very cool.
Then we had dinner at Silver Diner.
I'm soooooooo exhausted. We walked like forever today...I told DH that maybe with all this walking, baby will come sooner -- which would be both good and bad!
Ok, going downstairs to prop up my feet...TTUL!

Hey...I actually liked that. Maybe I'm not as old as I think I am![]()

Hey Marshay
That sounds like an awesome day indeed. Awesome that a lot of it was free, too
Go rest for sure. You must be exhausted![]()
Hi![]()
Oh it sounds like you had a wonderful day.![]()
Hey maybe we should buy stock in Pepsi.

Woke up to snow today! I was "blindsided" by that one today![]()
Seriously, I didn't think they were calling for snow...so glad we got outside yesterday then.
DD slept in her "big girl bed" last night...can't wait to go in and see what she thinks. Previously she was in a toddler bed (same size mattress as a crib) but we want to use the infant/toddler mattress in the crib and wanted to move her up to a full size mattress anyway.
We had purchased one of those captain's bed...higher than a regular bed but not as high as bunk beds. It has 3 drawers underneath the mattress.
We were hoping she'd be potty-trained at night before doing so but with only 2 weeks left, I don't think it's going to happen, so we just decided to move her now so she gets used to it before baby.

I'm glad you had yesterday then.![]()
I hope she likes her big girl bed. She is gonna be a great big sister.![]()

Just found out we are expecting 5-11" of snow overnight...that's a tremendous amount of snow for our area!
I see we are expecting 8-12 inches
