I'm glad you got to get out and have a good time. I was actually thinking of taking off and driving to Florida on Saturday just for the heck of it. But then, my common sense kicked in and I just went to Virginia for the weekend instead. I had to go south! I am so sick of looking at this snow. I am literally going stir crazy. I hate snow and I hate cold.

I had some surgery done last week. I only had two little stitches. Hopefully it doesn't leave a scar. They told me to stay out of the sun for six months. Yeah right. They don't know me very well.

Yeah you know it's that whole red chair thing!

i know... mom and dad are down too often now.. and of course mom must come down if I have to have surgery.. theyre talking about coming down for my DRs appt friday to "be there for me".. i told them not to bother.. i can handle it.. im a big girl..

they stopped scheduling their DRs appts for the same day as each other that way theyre down almost every other week..

HI Steph, have patience, Mom and Dad just want to see that baby. Josh's Mom gets to see him all the time and they are surely a little jealous of that so try to be patient with them. No they don't need to go to your Dr's appts with you so don't tell them when they are. Just give them a little slack as they need to be part of the baby's life. I don't know them so don't know what they do to drive you all nuts so can't comment on that but try not to mention dr's check ups, baby dr appts, etc. Just go to them and if they don't know about them they can't come, but the other times, for them to come once a week to see the baby is not all tthat unusual.

You should have come down to FL. I would love to see you! I hope to see you in May but would have been nice to see you now.

Glad that the surgery went well and your stitches won't show. Just put extra sunscreen where your stitches are and wear a visor or something to keep the sun off of your face so you can get the rest of yourself in the s un.

To tell ya the truth, I haven't had much time to get online to do anything other than work junk. I was out of town again last week and then left the snow for the weekend. I'm trying to get my husband to take me away next month for our anniversary. We'll see how that goes. I've been bugging him daily.

i understand but dad thinks its funny that when they come downa dn wake him up and he gets all thrown off for days he thinks its funny.. it makes me so mad..and that they still treat me like im 2 and mom gets all snappy with me if she thinks im doing something wrong.. like she always thinks its too hot for him and that hes congested.. well sorry..

Now that is something you have got to find a way to stop. It is not funny to wake the baby and screw up his schedule. That's not right. You have to show them you are no longer a little girl but a mother yourself and stand up for yourself and say I love you, I want you to visit but you have to go by my rules. Did you like grandma telling you how to take care of us, like them telling you what to do? Well neither do I. I'm sure I'll make mistakes but that's how we learn, the mistakes won't be serious so I'm sure Jason will survive just like we all did. Please respect my wishes because Jason is my child and I don't want him to be woke up as when you leave I am stuck with a cranky baby who is off his schedule and screwed up for days. I'm sure you don't want to do that to me. Just be nice about it and gently remind them of these things. I tried to be a good Mom and not boss Kelly around and tell her what to do and tried not to give advice unless it was asked for. I made some suggestions but never told her to do this or do that or you are doing that wrong or this wrong. It will all work out Steph.

Good morning ladies. Looks like I am in the same boat as Stinkerbelle and Huey. Terrible sinuses. Sorry I have not been on much lately. I also had terrible shoulder pain that turned out to be bursitis.

Hope ya'll have a great day. We went to World of Wheels this weekend and our first parade. Mardi Gras has begun!

I agree with what you say but I know my sister and her hubby and it won't matter how nicely Stephanie packages it they won't listen. And chances are they will become petulant.

I have been to Freemont the last four weeks. I could drive there in my sleep. Thankfully this is the last week there. I would like to do something other than bicycle races. I mainly want the rain becuase we are supposed to go camping this summer and the more rain the lower the fire danger will be making it a better trip. I am really afraid of being caught out in a forest fire.
