I have no clue! StinkerBelle is watching Scooby Doo (new obession) and I'm just surfing the net. I may try to make an appointment to get an airbrush tan today. I am supposed to go tomorrow but would love to get in today...I'm a little nervous I don't want to be pasty white for my brother's wedding next month so I'm giving this a try. If it looks ok, then I'll go back next month right before the wedding.

Are you guys just hanging out or do you have plans to do something?

I have no clue! StinkerBelle is watching Scooby Doo (new obession) and I'm just surfing the net. I may try to make an appointment to get an airbrush tan today. I am supposed to go tomorrow but would love to get in today...I'm a little nervous I don't want to be pasty white for my brother's wedding next month so I'm giving this a try. If it looks ok, then I'll go back next month right before the wedding.

Are you guys just hanging out or do you have plans to do something?

A friend of mine did hers the day before my wedding and she turned out pretty orange in all of my wedding pictures but she looked fine the day after that so my advice would be that if you're going to do it do it at least 2 days before his wedding and you should be fine. Plus that was 6 years ago so I'm sure they've profected the air brush tan a little better. Since you still have a month to go before the wedding you could always try that tanning lotion that gradually tans you. Have you tried that before? I've been wanting to but I can't bring myself to spend $10 on it.

oooo love Scooby Doo. I'm watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry. Not Adam's best work but it's okay. Ah hope the air brushing thing. Well, I had a spray tan 4 years ago and it was ok. I have the same thoughts, a lot has changed in that many years. I stopped into the salon the other day to ask the hours for getting the spray. There were 2 high school girls that had just had it done for their prom and they looked good. I told the lady that I was very worried about being orange and she said she guarantees it will look natural, very sunkissed. The girls did not look orange so I'm holding onto that hope! I figure this is a good test and if it sucks, I won't go back for the wedding. I have used the Jergen's gradual tanning and actually liked it. My only problem is my whole back will be showing in the dress and it's hard to make that all even along with my neck and face. I've never put it on my face, just legs and it gave a nice glow but nothing too much. Ahhhhh, why can't I just have a nice year around tan!

I'm in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It's just West of Louisville, Kentucky. I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. The elementary school I teach at is actually in Louisville. It's just a short trip across the bridge away!! Being so close to Louisville, I am all derby-ed out!

My sister works at MK a lot! Where does your daughter work at MK? My sister is in entertainment. She does parades, meet and greets, and 1900 Park Fare dinner.

I am blessed to have a teacher's assistant...believe me, we really appreciate you guys! I have 28 little buggers this year, and I absolutely couldn't do it without my assistant!

Hi PJ - My DD works as a coordinator over at the Jungle Cruise. She graduated from IU and immediately left for the College Program and then stayed - she has been in Florida for 3 years.

Rachel Alexandra beats 12 colts and is the first filly to win the big race in 85 years. We watched the race...it was pretty exciting..thought she might not make it...one of the horses all the way in the back came up to make 2nd place...almost beat "our" horse.



I know...I know...the things I do for my daughter...actually, it is kind of cute...I even laughed aloud at a few parts. We'll finish the movie tomorrow night.

I watched the race and was sooooooooo happy that Rachel Alexandra won!!!

It really does explain a lot of what I've been going through these past 2 months...and my older daughter, too. I'm guess I'm glad to get some sort of validation for my "guilt" over not having time for DD3 and resenting DD#2 at times.

Anyway, thank you my friends for helping to keep me sane these last 2 months...

as if to remind me that our time alone is limited.

Then he is born, and I watch you.

Tonight DH and I watched Quatum of Solace. It was ok...I really wasn't paying much attention as I wrote over 7 pages in Elie's Journal.

The last I had written in it was Oct 2008, so I had a lot to catch up on. But now I am up-to-date.

Next will be to do the same in Rachel's book. The last I wrote in hers was Sept 2008...gee, my hand is going to be tired!

I'm definitely starting to miss scrapbooking...this is the longest I've gone w/o doing it (3 months) and I can't wait to scrap Elie's pictures.
