In my own defense though I have been busy packing during the day for our move back to LA I just put a few more things out and we took a bunch of it out already and packed it in our camper.

Marshay, plan that long weekend, it's a good dry run for a full week, remember there are certain things you can buy when you get here so you don't have so much to pack. Like you can bring enough diapers and wipes for the plane ride and one day, then buy diapers here at Walmart, do you normally get a rental car? If so that would be one way of packing less, buying here.

They still haven't figured out what's wrong with my mom. She has been reading all kinds of stuff on the internet (which can be a bad thing..)

She was thinking maybe lyme disease. Also she said that the thing on her arm is getting worse again so she thinks possibly staph infection.

Then she talked to a friend of hers who freaked out and told her to go to the dr. again ASAP because she saw a special on tv about a man who got staph on his arm and then he started to get lots of back pain (like my mom is having) and the doctor's didn't know what it was...then he died!

That man had NO antibiotics whereas my mom did have some so hopefully she can get it under control. That story my mom told me today scared me!

While I worked my big temp job today, 4 hours, Bryan scrubbed all the spots that have accumulated over the 10 months we've been here (on the carpet). So I am sitting here trying to catch up on the DIS and I reached over to get a drink and knocked my glass of "black cherry" soda over on the carpet ! I could not believe it. I just soaked up all the liquid and there is this big red spot so I sprayed a ton of spot remover on it and am waiting for it work its magic and then I will scrub it and hope the stain comes out.

Oh man QM! Were you able to get the stain out?

Hi Betsy, glad things are calming down for you now girl! You need a rest!

Cheri mom has been sick. She was in the hospital ,but home now. We are hoping they can figure out what is going on with her. so, she could use some prayers

Hi Honey, no Bryan didn't see me do it but I told him when he woke up, lol. The spot remover worked, you can't even tell anything was spilled there. I love this stuff, it is awesome. I think it's made by Resolve but it's carpet spot remover. The carpet looks great after he did all the spots so all they'll do is the normal shampoo because we had a dog, before they re rent it. They won't charge us for any damages now. As it is there are all kinds of coffee stains on the patio but they'll power wash that.

I made the mistake of telling Bryan that you liked that particular chinese restaurant and he said oh great, we'll go there when we take everyone out to eat, it will be cheaper and different than always going to a diner. Maybe you can think of somewhere else you'd want to go that wold be better and in the same price range!

Glad you are liking the book. I love all of her books, once you get into one you know pretty much what they are going to be about because she's a bounty hunter and all her antics and they are just different characters and different scenarios, you're going to love them.

so glad the spot remover got the stain out and you won't have to pay damage charges for stains and such.

Not much. Yeah I went to Target and spent over a hundred dollars. I gotta stay away from that place. I always find things I want. They had flip flops on sale so I bought the kids each a pair. And they had packacges of four notebooks for $1 so I bought like 10 packages. I camethisclose to buying Disney's Dance Dance Revolution. The weather is rather toasty for April here. We are already tickling 80 degrees.

I call Target "The Devil Store" because I can never walk into that place w/o buying something.

I barely survived the shower......there were 75 women!!!!!!! Like a mini convention!!!! It took the mom to be 1 1/2 hours to open all the gifts PLUS they had games for us to play......75 women trying to listen to game instructions Right

When we got there they had set up tables for various family members. Walked up to our table and my SIL didn't like the seating arrangements and just started moving the other relative's purses and jackets!!! What is she out of her mind - I just stood there and watched My cousins come back to the table and they just stood there in shock. Boy did they get angry but they chose not to say anything. My SIL is an interesting personality to say the least and not one of my relative's favorites. She likes to take charge and has an opinion on everything ........

I am so glad I am home.........

Wow that sounds NUTS!! you poor woman!!

so DH just gave the green light for us to go to WDW for a long weekend (either Friday-Monday or Thursday-Sunday) this year.

And I can't believe it but the thought of just going for 4 days (essentially only 2 full days and 2 partial days, depending on our flights, etc) almost makes me not want to go at all. I figure the prepping and packing and just handling 2 kids may not be worth it.

Sooooooo...

tell me that I'm crazy and I should just go and have fun! After all, even just a day or two at WDW is better than a week at home...

or

tell me that I'm being reasonable -- it's a lot of work to only go for a few days and we'd be better off waiting until next year to go longer.

Wow that does sound like a lot of work for just two full days there but it would still probably be fun. I'd be really torn too. On our anniversary trip we were origionally not going to go to a Disney park for just one day but we changed our minds but then again its' just the two of us. Have you made any decisions yet?
