Good morning ladies and UJ! Last night Mike and I spent a few hours at Jellyrolls, and it was one of the funnest (yes, I said FUNNEST) things that we've done here! We had a total blast and I think we will be going back this evening (despite the $10 cover charge). It's no Adventurer's Club, but it is a really good time. So I suggest you all try it...well, except for maybe Nikki...might not be her kind of music. And speaking of Nikki, I will be thinking of you Friday!!

Going to get ready for breakfast at Boma and a morning at the water park now. I have to try and wake up Mike first. That's a task in itself!! Hmm, I think I'll turn on Stacy! (He always asks "what's that girl doing on the tv again?" every time we turn on the tv)

Oh and I said "the water park"...I have no idea which one we're going to. I told Mike to decide but he hasn't said anything yet. I think we may just see which bus pulls up first when we're at AKL!

I've always wanted to go there. I would surprise you. While killing is my favorite topic in music, I do have a tendency to listen to some rap. AND I was in the marching band and orchestra when I was in school, and can plahy lots of different instruments. I really like watching other people dlo that. I think my kids might like that place, too. A re kids allowed in?

Oh, yeah...you gotta watch Stacy at least 26 times while your're at Disney world. They have her on the tv at universal too so I was watching her in June. Joe thought I had officially lost my mind. I said they changed it. I t used to be the 7 must dos or something and its different now.

Typhono Lagoon is better! Don't listen to me. I've never evben been o Blizzard beach. My kids just said its better.

Your guess was absolutely correct!! We had a great time at TL. We didn't get there til after NOON though!! I'll explain later but it has to do with the WORST bus ride in history combined with another transfer. I seriously may write Disney a letter. Then when we were leaving TL, we had our longest wait for a bus yet...20 minutes or so. I told Mike when we were waiting that we were having "a bad bus day." We saw at least TWO of every OTHER RESORT before one for Pop came. Then there was a wheelchair.....but boom, another bus pulled up, and boy was he fast to load and hightailed it out of there!!

well gotta go...just showered and going to relax a few minutes before getting ready to go to DTD and eat Earl of Sandwich!!!

HAH! holy crap, check out Orlando news. They found a 'mysterious package' or something on one of the buses, so all the buses in the area got shut down until they could be checked. Waited on a cab for an hour at AK. Supposedly, some of the buses are running now, so we MIGHT be able to take a bus to MK and transfer on the monorail to GF for dinner. I hope. Unfortunately we don't have much time to relax here because of that bull*$%! Planned on swimming a bit and that's just what I'm going to do. Then I'll shower and get ready for dinner. We are going to be late but I'm sure they will take us considering the situation.

That stuff happens all the time in D.C. onm the metro. My sister and her husband are always being delayed. Crazy! Never expected it to happen in Disney World though. As if the bus system didn't suck enogh as it is.

UJ RULE #1 While at the world "RENT A CAR" this is not an option or a maybe, its a must, a shall, an absolute !!!!!

Vacation time is precious time........waiting for buses is a waste of vacation time!!!!!!!

In a rental car you can have air conditioning blowing right at your face, you can ride with the windows open and breathe fresh air (not stinky armpit smell from the no bathing foreigner next to you on the bus!!) , be at any park within 10 min. of walking out of your "on property" hotel room, you dont have the screaming mom to listen to, the crying baby who is wore out, the crying 7 year old cuz he didnt get the Star Wars toy,
You can go off property and buy beer much cheaper too!!!!

For about $125 for the week it is worth every penny

Joe's mom and dad used to be den leaders. I had my first and only experience camping in a tent when we all went on an outing one time. It was when I was pregnant with Shane, so a pretty long time ago. I hope you like the outdoors.

my DH did boy scouts and loved it. but he was a geeky, socially shy kid who loved to camp, learn Mcgyver things, etc.

he stayed in it all the way to eagle scout...says he learned lots of things in boy scouts and it gave him a social outlet to make friends, set goals by earning badges, etc (since he wasn't into sports and too shy around girls this worked good for him...)

Great program, the boys would do well in it......very task oriented....meet once a week, set goals for badges/patches, do camp outs, learn about the great outdoors, honesty & integrity (something we are lacking big time in this country) .....UJ gives it

My kids are several years older and they are just as bad or worse. They start packing weeks out. And they make lists and schedules. They plan every second. Ah yes, I have trained them well.

They are so organized. you should have seen what kyleigh packed to go to orlando. Winter clothes in June, hardly any shorts, and 6 bathing suits. I swear she threw every pair of underwear she owned into that suitcase. Needless to say, I had to redo it.
